METROPOLITANO — Hotel in Cairo

Staff are great, receptionists are always willing to help you even before your arrival. Location is fine but in a very noisy road (egyptians have a real problem with horn) although I must say that at my arrival the receptionist offered me to move to a more quiet room. Breakfast is simple, but you can't ask for more at this price! Quite cheap! But I found the room not clean enough, in fact there was a stain in my quilt; and the maintenance of rooms is not good either, there were some things broken, such as bed, that were not repaired. I could add that the stairs to access the hotel are really creepy, but...

This place is brand new and beautiful. It has a very modern vibe, but the people which are alwasys the best part of Egypt treated me with old-fashioned warmth. I had a lot of questions, especially because I don't read/write/speak Arabic and they were fantastic (and very patient) in explaining how this crazy city works and where to go and where to avoid. The people are all young and enthusiastic. My room was impeccable and the WiFi didn't drop once, which kind of shocked me because I'm a digital worker and I'm always getting dropped. ...

My last day in Cairo and this place has been just perfect. It’s in a great location where you can simply step out and get stuck in where the locals shop. Very affordable and the staff are so helpful. The manager came to thank me personally for staying because he finished his shift and he knew I was about to check out after he left. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. 5 stars from me...
