It’s frustrating when a hotel enforces strict alcohol policies that seem out of place, especially in a tourist-friendly area where other establishments allow it. In this case, the owner’s behavior—fighting with guests over drinking beer and wine at a beachfront café—creates an unnecessarily negative experience. Tourists expect a certain level of relaxation and freedom in such destinations, and banning alcohol while competitors allow it only alienates potential guests.||Hotels should consider the cultural and economic context of their location. If all other hotels in the area permit alcohol consumption, enforcing a ban makes this establishment stand out for the wrong reasons. Tourists choose destinations based on hospitality, atmosphere, and local norms, and an overly strict policy can drive guests away. Confrontational behavior from the owner further damages the hotel’s reputation, discouraging return visits and negative reviews that could impact business.||If the hotel is concerned about excessive drinking or disruptive behavior, they could implement reasonable guidelines instead of outright bans. A better approach would be designated areas for alcohol consumption or specific time restrictions. Otherwise, guests will simply choose friendlier, more accommodating hotels nearby. At the end of the day, hospitality should be about enhancing the guest experience—not restricting it without...
Read moreSimply the Worst place/Accommodation to stay ever!! I will not say the word Hotel!!!
Price to value: Don’t even try to make a reservation from Booking.com at this hotel!
Although you are Egyptian and you book from inside Egypt, the hotel will deduct the amount in US dollars and not in the local currency, and this will charge you with bank expenses to manage foreign currency, why!!
Although the price shown on Booking with a discount was about 16 % off because I travel a lot, make sure that you will pay the same price before the discount in addition to another extra 15 %!!
The room is so small that you will be walking by only one side of your body most of the time.
cleanliness: It is one of the worst possible dirt especially on the window in addition to the bad smell + I stayed there for two nights and did not see anyone related to the cleanliness in the place.
There are no shampoo, shower gel or even soap!! FYI, there is no even a towel.
The air conditioning barely covers one side of this small room on your face only!! Plus water that comes out of the air conditioner is leaking into the room.
No management to solve a problem or even someone knows how to deal with guests!!
Happy Land, or what they call the New Happy Land, is an accommodation nightmare...
Read moreSo, I didn’t really stay in this hotel but I went there to use the bathroom🤣🤣🤣 I was in a restaurant right in front of the hotel and needed to use the bathroom so the waiter told me to go there. I went and the bathrooms were very clean✨ and it wa agree of charge of course. There were 2 hosts, I think, a man and a girl. The guy was so welcoming and showed us around. He even told us about activities that they do like camping, for example. I really like the vibes there, very chill and quiet- exactly what you need to calm down or relax. The girl, however, wasn’t the kindest 😅 she asked if we are guests so we can use the bathroom- my friend and I🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ I am thinking about staying there next time I’m in Dahab because the hotel is so cozy and in the middle of Dahab- Al Mamsha. It has everything all around it from shops to restaurants to the sea. Many thanks to the guy- I think his name was Saeed- for his hospitality. He is a good example of how kind employees attract...
