on 09.12.2022 I booked a room for two nights, from the 13th to the 15th of December for my wife. At arrival in Tallinn she received a text message from this hotel, she was informed that the room we had booked was in the second floor, and because during and after cleaning the window was left open it was all messed up. Means furninture and carpet was all wet, even next to the bed. My wife entered the room and it was simply unfit for stay and she left the room and hotel and we had to look for other accommodation in the middle of the night. The text message informed my wife THAT EVEN WET TODAY IT WILL BE ALL DRY BY TOMORROW Our payment of Euro 82,62 was made by credit card. Despite several requests for answer and return of the amount, until today - 31.of December 2022 we have not received either. I ordered my bank to try to solve that issue .. again, no response from hotel. I recommend highly to anyone who thinks about booking there not to do it. As you can see in our case - the management does not even possess the decency to answer in anyway, leave alone returning the paid amount.

We were denied the Superior apartment we booked, due to overbooking and because our price supposedly was too low through Booking.com. We are frequent travelers and have Genius level 2, thus we get better deals but not this time. We were placed in the renovated old wooden building, thus soundproof was awful, the room was facing also the street and car traffic noise was additional issue. We never got any answer from the host on the booking issue, although we tried contacting her through several channels - WhatsApp, Booking and phone. No answer during our entire stay.
There was no one at the reception - all the time. The cleaning lady let us in when we arrived after 10 minutes of searching for someone to open the door for us. When leaving we had to leave the keys on the reception desk, as there was no one again. Many had done the same before us that day - pictures added. Although renovation of the wooden building was carried out well, they forgot that it has to be coupled with good customer service. It is the key for long term success. I emphasize that the hotel did not cancel on its own, but asked me to cancel. Although I booked a month before the trip, for some reason they decided to specifically cancel the check-in literally the day before. Before that, they answered my questions as if everything was fine with them. I don’t know what exactly happened to them three days before the trip. But that shouldn't be my problem. After notifying me of a problem with check-in, the hotel never responded to my question about what happened at the hotel and why I should cancel.
