Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Upon checking in at 1 a.m., I was charged additional fees for my dog, parking, and breakfast, with prices significantly higher than the city average. Exhausted from the journey, I agreed, but the final cost was comparable to premium-class hotels.
Entering the room, I was disheartened: old furniture with chips, stained carpeting, and a chair so dirty it seemed I might soil my clothes. The bathroom had yellowed silicone seams ingrained with dirt, and there was an unpleasant odor in the room.
After requesting a cleaner room, I was relocated, but the bedding was uncomfortable, and the pillows were so hard that I had to sleep without them.
My business trip required online work from the hotel, but due to ongoing renovations, the noise was so intense that I had to conduct phone calls from my car in the parking lot. The hotel’s website did not mention any renovations, prompting my urgent move to another hotel to continue my work.
I sought compensation but received only a small portion of the cost for one night. The hotel staff did not apologize in person; apologies arrived only via email after my departure.
I do not recommend this hotel due to overpriced services, unsatisfactory living conditions, and lack of...
Read moreTruly not a 4 star hotel it claims to be. I am deducting 3 stars because
This is the only 4 star hotel I know that does not lend out umbrellas to guests during the rainy season. Even 3 star hotels do that. I asked the front desk and they provided no solutions. So I had to be creative. I ended up using a shower cap to go to the nearby coffee place while it was pouring rain.
As I walked out of the hotel looking ridiculous with a shower cap on, under pouring rain, instead of the front desk personnel offering a bigger plastic bag to cover myself or even offering any help at all... they just decided to give me a smirk/slight laugh as if it was funny that I'm about to get wet.
If your staff can't provide solutions, you can at least train them to not smirk/laugh/ridicule guests getting wet because you can't provide basic rain protection... From a customer service perspective, you are definitely not a 4 star institution. Please stop claiming as such.
I didn't mind these before but the last incident has pushed me to write it down. 4 stars without any robes, hotel slippers, not free water, no provisioned coffee or tea?!? These are basic 4 star amenities that do not exist here. From a room amenities perspective, you are also not a...
Read moreNice hotel. Well located opposite the old town of Tallinn. A walk through the park will bring you to the old town, but it is up hill all the way, which may be a problem for those with mobility issues.|We use IBIS on a regular basis. In the last year we have used Ibis Styles in Barcelona and Zurich. This wasn't the best Ibis Styles I have stayed in. It appears as if it is in transition - a work in progress. Some parts of the hotel are beautiful, such as the lobby and dining area. Our room, which was a superior room facing the street, was large, even a bit too large for two of us. The decor was old and whilst clean, it was in need of updating. The main problem was the windows were truly filthy. They looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in a long time.||Nevertheless, the plus points are:||Excellent location.|Clean room (except windows).|Lovely lobby.|Very nice breakfast.|Courteous staff - but in need of more training. |They gave us wrong directions and we missed our guided tour, which was a pity.||Reasonable price - 252.40 Euros for 2 nights inclusive of breakfast, i.e 126.20 per night.|That is an extremely reasonable price for August.||All in all, we were happy with our stay at...
