I'm somewhat conflicted by how to review this place. On one hand, the location is superb, the service and the food where excellent.
The public veranda, which is ajacent to the bar and dining room and perfectly overlooks the centre of Val Thorens ski area is more or less perfection.
However, we had a very small room, on a low floor, and at the back so we very much missed out of the view and the afternoon sunshine, after a day's skiing.
The room was adequate I guess, but the toilet room was tiny, and the towels only just warranted the name.

The hotel staff are multi lingual, and are extremely friendly. The biggest let down has been the food. The evening meals have been mostly indistinguishable in looks and taste. Read moreLovely hotel in the heart of VT. The staff were universally wonderful and so happy to help. Food was excellent - yes it is a set 5 course evening meal, but the quality is awesome and it led to me trying many things that I would have passed on but which I really enjoyed.
And as for the location - it simply can't be beaten. Literally ski in and out of the ski room, to/from the piste a few meters from one of the main chairlifts.
