Hôtel Villa R — Hotel in Calvi

Great location at the quieter end of Calvi, albeit next to the coast road with lovely views of the sea and citadel. The charming and secluded Roncu beach is only a 3 minute walk and the town centre and marina are also within easy walking distance. The secure car parking was a real bonus and is located nearby. We stayed in a ground floor apartment which was immaculately serviced every day and enjoyed breakfast brought to us on the verandah every morning. Marisa and all the staff were welcoming and very helpful throughout our 7 day stay, even carrying our suitcase without being asked. The only problem we had was when the fridge stopped working on the first morning and this was replaced with a new one by lunchtime - great service. Enjoyed Calvi which was still very busy and has so many restaurants it's hard to choose sometimes but would recommend the nearest one about 300 metres away - A Punta - a family owned Pizzeria with plenty of choice on the menu and great staff who really appreciate your custom. Would return to Corsica to see more of this...

Parkplatz auf staubigem Kiesplatz unter dem Trottoir ca. 200m von der Unterkunft mit Code gesperrt. Schlechte Möglichkeit Gepäck auszuladen. Strasse mit hoher Bordsteinkante. CheckIn und CheckOut sehr nette und freundliche Dame. Die Lage ist gut, aber es gibt nähere Hotels beim Zentrum. Schöner Blick auf das Meer. Zimmer sind gross und modern, jedoch war beim Bett schon die Kopflehne hässlich und abgenutzt. Positiv, es gibt einen Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Schöner Pool. Der Whirlpool war total schmutzig (Haare, Dreck usw.) es verging mir die Lust einen Zeh in das Wasser zu stecken und habe darauf verzichtet. Ich fand die Unterkunft insgesamt zu teuer für die gebotene Leistung und würde mir beim nächsten Calvi Besuch eine andere Übernachtungsmöglichkeit suchen. Mehr...
