As of 2012, we visit this hotel every year. In fact, we were one of the first guests ever. Over time we saw this location transform from Appart’City (with its noisy and uncomfortable sofa beds, only a weekly or optional towel change and very minimal services) to a hotel with more comfort (normal beds and housekeeping every other day) after Comfort Suites took over the complex. Like every year, the staff was friendly and supportive. As returning guests, they make their best effort possible to ensure we get one of our favorite studio’s and enjoy our stay to the max. Too bad there aren’t that many familiar faces anymore. However, I do believe the handyman recognized us and at least one of the housekeeping staff did. Just like previous visits, the studio was clean, the beds are really good and the whole complex is very neat. I could say something about the yellow grass lawn but considering the limited water supplies and measurements by the prefect, it’s to be expected. The only thing that withholds me for giving 5 stars are the chairs outdoors. Given the fact the hotel is perfect for guests traveling light, and considering the overnight rate, you would expect something more comfortable. Sadly, as we have been pointing out for years, all you get are the cheapest ones available. That being said, we would be more than happy to pay additional/optional costs to have seats with more comfort. In which you could sit, relax and maybe even read a book. The other thing that is missing for some years is something to dry swimming pants and beach towels on. It used to be in every studio back in the day. Overall a pleasant stay and we would like to come back next summer. Hopefully with some more comfortable...
Read moreMy third time staying here, the last time being in 2018 and since then a few things have changed but still a really good choice for the area if you are looking for a studio apartment type of place to stay.||Basic but comfortable air-conditioned rooms which were needed when I stayed for two weeks in late July and early August 2022.||The room has a small kitchenette with microwave, cooktop, sink , fridge and all the utensils you would probably need and a nice balcony with a table and chairs to enjoy the view of the pool, grounds and mountains in the distance from rooms on the northern side of the buildings.||This is an apartment hotel and has limited services like weekly housekeeping. |Nice underground parking and a laundry in the basement are added conveniences.||The staff are friendly and there is a laundry and pool and the location is close to the beach at Mandelieu-la-Napoule which was the perfect spot for an early morning swim. ||While there isn’t much within a short walk the centre of Mandelieu-la-Napoule is a short drive away with everything you would need including access to the motorway to take you anywhere...
Read moreI was there a week ago with a friend
The place is clean, quiet and close to the beach
Nevertheless, when we were there, The wifi (which is described as "optical fiber wifi") wasn't working The TV wasn't working And, to top it off, there is almost no cellular signal in the neighbourhood
When we made a comment about these simple basic services missing (which is almost unbelievable in 2019), we were treated as only French can do it, with arrogance and disdain
Not a good experience at all

UPDATE after the response from the manager
From what I understood from other customers, the technical problems (TV, and especially no WIFI) have been lasting for a long time, not just a few days (and from your response, are stil not resolved)
Therefore I suggest you mention that on your website, or continuing to advertise a "fiber optic WIFI available" (meaning, very good wifi) might very likely be construed as false advertising and misrepresentation
Personally, if I had known there was no connection, I would have chosen a different place
Please advise in a...
