We have spent 4 wonderful days as guests at Fondation CAB. It is a new addition to the art foundations near by. It is housed in a beautiful 50’s building restored by Charles Zana, housing a small collection of minimal and conceptual art. It also has 4 very unique guest rooms, one being a small house by Jean Prouve. We had The One room and it was large, appointed with mid century furnishings and decor, a huge tub, Le Corbusier cabinet etc. as well as a huge private terrace. Fondation CABis located adjacent to Foundation Maeght. ||It also has an attached restaurant Sol, named for Sol Lewitt with one if his sculptures on the wall. It is delightful in every way, beautifully designed and run by Jon who is chef and so much more. Delicious, fresh food, mostly served on the lovely patio. Breakfast, lunch and dinner on most days. We ate there as much as possible and Jon was extremely helpful to us in so many ways. ||There are a few drawbacks with the hospitality end of things, such as parking and exact directions and i would have appreciated knowing that all our luggage needed to be taken up and down quite a few outside stairs, but these are things that I believe, they will refine.||Or you are interested in a beautiful setting, art, design and terrific food, I...

Read moreI just entered the room I booked and the temperature inside is 15 degrees Celsius. It’s January 2nd and it’s warmer outside. When contacted the owner he said that “the cleaning lady tested the heating and it worked”. How about leaving the heating on for the arriving guests? Truth is that from one grid comes out warm air and from the other freezing one. No way I can take a shower before dinner as the temperature is North Pole like. The only word I heard from the responsible is “Je suis desolé”. I prepaid the room and got scammed like a beginner. Isn’t the client always right? You should have offered a partial reimbursement or a free breakfast. Learn some CRM, dude. By the way wi-fi doesn’t work. Avoid sleeping here, once they cashed in, they...
