Great place to eat in Saint-Paul. Unpretentious but good food in French bistrot style, reasonable prices, friendly and efficient service. Very nice view on the village of Saint-Paul and conveniently located at the bottom of the hill below Fondation Maeght. With a lot of tables they can accommodate even for larger groups (advance reservations recommended of course). Try the nice, home made desserts. Paella is very good. Worst pizza I have had in my life. Crust was burnt and toppings fall off the pizza. Cheese is chunky. Customer service is terrible. Told us pizzas were personal size (15 euros each) and were easily big enough for two people. Got our order wrong and tried to charge us for extra pizzas. Hot chocolate was incredibly bitter. Had to add an unhealthy amount of sugar to make it at the minimum drinkable. Waiter did not cut the pizza for us even after we asked and could not even give me a spoon after I specifically asked for one. I asked for an English menu but the cursive words on that are hard to recognize and I am sure some of them are not English. So I asked the owner if I can just order the dishes on the cover of menu. Literally, he said "You know English. You can read." I couldn't even believe my ears! I have been in Europe for one year and this is my first time being treated like this.
