This is a simply stunning place! Breathtaking views over St Paul De Vence and the sea in the distance. The property has been restored to an exceptional standard and the 5 rooms are very well appointed and spacious. We stayed in room 5 overlooking the pool and has a separate kitchen and sitting area with views over the pool and St Paul. There is also a kitchen area on the pool terrace with cooker, ice maker and other appliances. The infinity pool is lovely and everywhere is maintained by the owners to the highest standards. It is immaculate!! They live with their family above so are always on hand if needed. The drive up to the property is a little challenging but once mastered it is easy to navigate although a small car is definitely easier. I would definitely recommend a smaller car anyway for exploring as parking and car parks are tight for space. Cristina and her husband are the best hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and Cristina helped with restaurant recommendations. This is a hidden gem of a place and we would recommend long stays here as it makes for an exceptional base to explore the Côte d’Azur. We will...
Read moreOur holiday at Christina’s place was, in one word, fantastic. Saint-Paul de Vence is breathtaking, and from the accommodation you have a direct view of the picturesque village. It is a peaceful spot, yet close to vibrant cities like Nice and Antibes. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and tidy. It is great to have your own little kitchen to prepare drinks or snacks, and there is also a large shared kitchen by the pool that you can use.
The infinity pool is absolutely amazing, and the view invites you to relax and unwind completely. Christina is a super friendly host and is there every morning to prepare breakfast for you. We stayed for a week, but it felt like we had been away for two. We returned completely recharged.
Thank you for everything, Christina. We will definitely be...
Read moreWe had a very nice stay at Ideal. It was a perfect view and the best location to explore the Cote d'Azure. Also the host was very friendly and our late arrival was no problem. Furthermore the infinity pool was really nice.
So nearly nothing to complain about except maybe, that there were no seperate towels for the pool or no vacuum or sponges to clean, since for longer stays there is no cleaning. Another minor thing ist, that there are no windows to get fresh air in the room except the big window-door, but in front of it is also the path to the other rooms.
As a last Tip: the Breakfest was good but there are many nice Cafés around which are cheaper and gave us the real...
