You Hotel Deauville - Handwritten Collection — Hotel in Lisieux

We stayed here for one evening with our children ages 4 and 12. Due to the location of the hotel there is no parking however there are many options close by that didn’t cost much for 24 hours. I believe you may also be able to park outside the hotel if you are lucky enough to find a spot. ||Check in was pleasant, staff were helpful and polite. We had a family room located on the 2nd floor overlooking a kebab shop and bar. I was concerned about previous reviews regarding the noise but as it was a Wednesday evening I don’t think we were impacted too badly. I did notice lot of noisy cars showing off outside but this is not the fault of the hotel and to be expected in a busy town area. ||We loved the high tech touches of the room as did our children. The hotel itself is very cool and trendy. The communal spaces were really well designed with working spaces, bar and other smart touches. Wow, just wow! I recently stayed at this new hotel concept and I gotta say, it blew my mind! 🤯 The infrastructure was off the charts, totally modern and gave off such a cool, young vibe. Plus, everything was squeaky clean! 🌟

But let me tell you, the staff... they were a whole new breed of awesome! 👏 I mean, they were young, laid-back, and always ready to lend a hand whenever I needed anything. Not your typical hotel experience, that's for sure!

Now, let's talk about my room, the Suite Baigneuse. Holy moly, it was like stepping into a luxurious modern dreamland! 😍 So much space, lightning-fast internet for all my online shenanigans, and they didn't skimp on the awesome amenities either. I felt like a rockstar, I tell ya!

And can we take a moment to appreciate the location? This place was smack dab in the middle of everything! It seriously couldn't have been better positioned. Talk about convenience!

Honestly, this new hotel concept totally hits the nail on the head for anyone craving a modern, young, connected, and community-centric experience. It's a digital nomad's and trader's paradise ! We booked the suite La Terrass, for EUR 470 for one night. Clearly not worth the money; actually, one of the worst value-for-money I’ve seen/paid. The room is just a big impersonal space with three beds, two chairs, a basic desk, no privacy or separate spaces (as you would expect from a suite), and a feeling of a slightly higher-end youth hostel. The entire hotel seems a mix of co-working office space and Ryanair. The decor is nice and modern, but cheap. And, as if you weren’t already paying above its value, you have to pay an additional deposit of EUR 150 upon arrival, in case of “consumption”, although there is no minibar in the bedroom and food and beverages seem to only be available in vending machines. Got the money back 24h after checking out, but all seems unnecessarily aggressive. Staff is nice, but for that amount for 3 people I expect more.
