We were just wandering around Cassis and thought that the restaurants around the marina would be pricy, wrongly, in fact! But we found this place, it had a nice basic look to it, chairs and tables outside. These places are generally good in my experience. The owner was enthusiastic about the food, and took obvious pride. The pizza is offered by weight, so you tell them what size you want they cut that much off , they weigh it, charge you by the gram, cook it and serve it to you! Ace! Kept simple, a few options presented well. One draw back, no customer toilet, but there is a public toilet in the nearby car park. No biggie Basic, but still a 5* service, in my opinion

Now THIS is PIZZA! As a New Yorker in love with New York pizza, which by all standards should be Italian...i adore true Italian pizza. Finding that in France is hard to do, largely because they tend to quickly substitute emantal for mozzarella, which while interesting, is simply not Italian. At best you can call it a French style, in the ranks of Hawaiian or Californian pizza, but NOT Italian. For that, folks, you need at the very least, to stick to the mozzarella. But where Casa Roma does Italy proud is in the crust. Casa Roma's crust is true to the old school recipe, a magic that should be admired and enjoyed!

My wife and I came off a week long Provence trip eating amazing local cuisine and just wanted a nice pizza. Casa Roma over exceeded our expectations! We ended up getting it twice and took back to hotel to watch the sunset on Cape Canille. The owners are the nicest people and so happy to meet them. The pizza is one of the best ever had. Many amazing selections capturing the local foods. The crust is that Roma crust so hard to find outside of Rome. We tried 6 different ones and all were great. Would recommend to go here and will visit them again when return. Thank you!

It was a hot and sweaty afternoon on the Mediterranean coast in Cassis - is this where Cassis comes from? Who knows… probably Jesus. After scanning the menu of various restaurants, looking for vegetarian options, we stranded at Pizza Roma. We hoped to find a price worthy alternative for all the high priced restaurants around us. The remaining pizzas of the day were brought from the fridge in the kitchen; it was around closing time. We chose pizza with mozzarella and since there was no other vegetarian option we also got a little piece with ham. There was no price signs to see and when she weighted the pizza and wrote down 22 & 11 we thought it must be some Italian metrics. We also got two soft drinks to make it a whole meal. The lady kindly asks “cash or card?”

Tun tun tuuunnn…

€40,50 please.

For one box of pizza and two drinks we found this rather expansive. The margin must be pretty good....

The staff is extremely impolite. We have ideed ordered coffee and some soda in order to rest for a few minutes. The terrace was empty but however the owner has warned us that their place is not a bar and that we need to leave if people come. Nevertheless, as long as we paid for what we have ordered, there should be no issue with it. However, it seems that they really needed to point it out that the so called "restaurant" was not a bar. On top of that, they do not speak English. Lastly and most importantly, they only checked the covid pass once we left and hence we could have easily come and stayed and their "terrace" having covid....
