Stay away! There are no words to explain the level of unprofessionalism and the rude and xenophobic attitude from the night shift lady. After booking for 3 nights directly with the hotel over the phone, they gave us a rate, that we accepted and then when we were visiting the city they blocked our room, without even contacting us! The absurdity and the complete lack of effort on the part of the hotel is appalling. When we went back to the reception to ask why, they said we got the incorrect price and we need to pay more. We politiley asked to speak with the manager which the person working night shift refused and started screaming at us. I have never in my life had such a terrible experience. The night receptionist started screaming and laughing at our requests to speak with the manager. But that's not all, when we were leaving the hotel after paying the additional night because it was late and we just wanted to get to bed, the xenophobic receptionist didn't want to open the door for us to leave, taking every opportunity to take a threataning actitute towards the guests. The worst stay ever. I would give -5 stars if possible and paste the same opinion a thousand times. I hope the hotel takes action and disciplines the receptionist as i would not recommend anyone dealing with...
Read moreIt is very difficult to read some of the negative reviews here. For a business that relies on positive experiences I must say that they were a little unfair. Either the hotel has made vast improvements, some of the reviews were fake or the price point just attracts a difficult clientele. I have travelled all over the world and stayed in too hotels to shacks on the beach so I believe I have a fair perspective. The hotel feels fresh, clean and new and in a great location for the price point. Yes the rooms are small but perfectly workable a nice easy design and practical with heating system, hairdryer and a good hot shower. The sheets were very clean as was the room. It was very quiet. The breakfast was a nice surprise and I liked that it was typically French, fresh baguette, pain ou chocolate and plenty of coffee, juice, yoghurt and cheeses. The hotel staff are not professionally trained but are friendly and diligent. This hotel would suit couples and single travellers who want a quick stay to visit all the galleries and sites Paris has to offer. The hotel does not profess to be more than it is, a practical, clean, well located for a good price for...
Read moreThis is a gem of a hotel. There’s only 5 rooms on each floor and iI don’t hear any of the other rooms on my floor. Everything is new and fresh. Staff were very nice. The area is on a small quiet one way street. Despite being on a small street there are a plethora of cafes nearby so you don’t have to get a cab/ride share to be able to enjoy a wide selection of Paris cuisine. It’s also about 4 minutes walk away from several Metro stations. And less than 3 from some bus stations. The one thing I don’t have a rave review about was the breakfast service, they offer a baguette and chocolate croissant with a small selection of yogurt, juice and coffee. Not bad as far as service goes, but I would have enjoyed a meat offering. Not sure how family friendly it is because of...
