Anahi — Restaurant in Paris

Thought we would escape the bad service so many reviews have mentioned but unfortunately we didn’t. Our waiter, Charlie (who also says he’s the manager when I asked to see a manager) misinformed us about a menu item which led to our bill to be 2x as much (he pushed a steak item on us that’s the only one priced per person instead priced by the piece and didn’t inform us that distinction) and we had almost half of the steak leftover because it was too much for our group of 6. We were surprised when we got the bill and asked him about it, he became very defensive and kept saying “well it’s on the menu, I can’t do anything about it” with a very bad attitude. Then when we needed a minute to discuss amongst our group on how to pay the bill, he immediately went to the rest of his coworkers and started gossiping about us and kept looking over at our table, which made us feel very uncomfortable.

In addition, I don’t know if it’s every waiter at the restaurant but Charlie was very pushy about making us order more food from the very beginning - he kept trying to make us order 2 of every appetizer eve though we repeatedly said we only want 1. I’ve had waiters push more food on me but never as aggressive as this.

The rest of the wait staff we interacted with was great, but our dinner was ruined by Charlie’s misinformation...

I recently celebrated my one-year anniversary at Anahi in Paris, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was enchanting, blending a chic, intimate vibe with an inviting warmth.❤️

The food was absolutely phenomenal. Each dish was crafted with exquisite detail and bursting with flavor. We started with some delectable appetizers, followed by a main course that was nothing short of culinary perfection. The wine selection was impeccable, complementing our meal beautifully and enhancing the overall experience. ❤️

To top it all off, the dessert was simply divine. Every bite was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to excellence.😍

Spending this special occasion with my boyfriend at Anahi made it even more memorable. The attentive and friendly staff ensured that every moment was perfect. I loved every second of our anniversary celebration here and can't wait to return for more magical evenings. ❤️

If you get the opportunity to dine here, don't pass it up. The food is divine. From wagyu ribeye to lamb legs, ceviche or empanadas, every bite is magnificent. We read mixed reviews but thought we'd try it. The venue is small, there's no doubt. But although we arrived late (our flight was quite delayed) they welcomed us graciously. We never would have randomly picked this restaurant by wandering Paris. It's a hidden gem. But we are so very glad we found it! Every morsel was perfection. We had champagne and an Argentinian red wine that surpassed our expectations very nicely. The staff is efficient, graceful, and kind. The patrons obviously love the restaurant and sit and talk and eat for hours. A gorgeous woman in red who seemed to speak better Spanish than French attended to us like we were old friends.
