I have been staying with Hotel Moris two times prior to my absolutely last and final visit. The Hotel is well located and close to Marais, République and Saint Martin. The rooms are nice and clean in classic Parisian manner. The issue is not the accommodation, it's the staff and their shocking service.
My partner and I checked out from our room at 12PM on a Sunday after having stayed two nights at your hotel. When I turned in the keys and were about to leave, your receptionist stopped me and started accusing me and my partner with the WILDEST accusations! He claimed that we had been smoking in the room and left the windows wide open. He said that the cleaning lady had walked into a completely smoke-filled room with both windows wide open. He insisted that we were to pay 99 EUROs for breaking french law and he was acting very aggressively and started shouting at us in front of all the other guests.
The irony in this insane situation is that NEITHER ME AND MY PARTNER SMOKE! NEVER HAVE AND NEVER WILL.
I was utterly shocked to hear these accusations and I can’t even begin to think, of what grounds your receptionist based these accusations on? I did send an email to the Hotel Manager with further information to prove our innocence without a response nor an apology.
I truly hope that no one of your other guests will be wrongly accused and embarrassed for something they never did. I’m sorry to say, but I think that this was the last time we stayed at...
Read moreI booked and fully paid for 5 nights at this hotel via booking.com I flew from Western Australia to Paris on 8/4/2025 and booked the room from 7-12 April so that we could check in on arrival and not have to wait until 3.00 p.m. on 8 April. My flight landed a CDG Paris at 8.00 a.m. and I was en route to this hotel when I received an email to say that the booking had been cancelled because I was a 'no show' on 7th April. 5 nights fully paid for and the hotel cancelled the booking! Leaving us with no accommodation and they only partially refunded, keeping the cost of the room for 7/4 even though it was well before the check out time of 10.00 a.m. I rang them and they did not care at all that they had left us stranded in Paris and declared that they were now fully booked and no longer had any vacancies. This is truly disgusting and caused great stress, as you can imagine. Big thumbs down from me and always will be. Hotel Moris - do a whole lot better than this. Truly, go elsewhere, they don't care about...
Read moreA solid four stars for me, and I would credit that almost entirely to the amazing staff, especially the young gentleman who checked us in night one (July 3) — please, please give him a promotion!!!
I deducted a star because the rooms are quite a bit smaller than pictured, the breakfast was limited in selection and in a small area, our safe was broken (and as far as I’m aware, never fixed) and we did have a dirty bedsheet one night. However, the front desk staff (July 6) was so quick to get us a new one when we called. Also, we had all the basic essentials and GREAT air conditioning.
The location is pretty good! Paris is huge and all the major landmarks are all over the place, so no matter where you are, you will have to Metro/walk/cab. I liked how close it was to Le Marais.
Thanks to the Hotel Moris staff for making me feel like I was in a luxury hotel. You truly elevated the experience for me (I would have given 3 stars for the actual venue if not for the...
