Hôtel du Plat d'Etain — Hotel in Paris

Exceptionally clean air-conditioned room. It was an amazing experience for us and we're truly lucky that we found this hotel during the Olympics opening ceremony in Paris. The rooms are equipped with all the modern facilities. And every day they tidy up rooms so perfectly, they even refill the water as well as the coffee capsules in the Nespresso machines! The washrooms were marvelous, a digital temperature sensor on the faucet was a pleasure to look at. I stayed at the hotel with my spouse for 3 nights. We liked everything. We had enough space in the room, with comfy pillows and a bed, and the bathroom was larger and cleaner than expected. The bathroom was equipped with a digital sensor showing temperature and consumption data and it also changes color with more use. Great sustainability move. The hotel staff members were very nice. The personnel at the reception gave us recommendations concerning nearby restaurants and informed us about the best/easiest ways to get to several attractions. This hotel has an excellent location. Metro number 9 is very close and allows you to access all the attractions easily. There is a good boulangerie in front of the hotel and many grocery stores nearby. Movie theater REX is nearby and the best cafe is also just in front of the hotel. The only thing that can be improved is that the TV app does not connect to Chromecast most of the time, you have to restart either your phone or the TV multiple times. Since the TV does not have YouTube or Netflix built-in, you cannot watch anything without Chromecast, however, screen-mirroring worked fine. Overall the hotel gave us a clean...

Oops forgot to shoot much photos here but we received very warm reception from this hotel. Special shoutout to Jimmy. Jimmy was very thoughtful and service oriented. He ensured that the family always left the hotel warmly clothed and also helped us book a cab from the airport which made it very convenient, efficient and most importantly safe for us.

The hotel has a lift which fits 4 people or 2 people with large luggage. Our legs are very thankful. Also located 200m away from the metro, it’s very convenient. The hotel has many food options and supermarket located in its vicinity, less than 300m. Rooms are clean and free of any bedbugs. Toilets were also well maintained.

If you want a peace of mind travel in Paris, you can strongly consider this hotel.

Breakfast is optional and reasonably priced. Across the road 10m away also has a late night food joint for Japanese food till 11pm.

There is a review stating about returning the room keys whenever we left the hotel and I agree with that practice in order to best safeguard our belongings should any malice fall on us travellers. It was a simple process, painless, the hotel staff also verifies and remembers you and your room...
