This is now our second time staying in this wonderful hotel. We came here in June 2024 and recently again in November 2024. On both occasions we've been so impressed with the rooms and facilities. The rooms themselves are very classic in style with all the modern touches you could ever need.
We just can't get over how incredible the staff are. Our french is far from perfect but they were patient and helped us learn a phrase or two.
You can stream Disney+, Netflix and Amazon Prime from your phone to the TV and there's a bluetooth speaker which is perfect for listening to music whilst winding down in the evening.
The hotel is fully equipped for a relaxing stay and provides sewing kits, shoe shining kits, a safe, hairdryers, a tissue dispenser, a bidet with a heated seat, shower gel and shampoo, room service, mini fridge big enough to store your own food (with optional extras inside) and a few other great bits.
There's a G20 supermarket about 60 seconds away which is perfect if you want to pick up any food or drink for the room. It's very close to the Blanche metro station for line 4 and a short walk to Pigalle which is on both line 2 and 4. It's very easy to get to most major attractions in the city.
I think it's perfectly priced for the location and quality of the facilities. I would love to see a loyalty scheme or membership as we would absolutely visit more frequently if this was introduced.
Lastly, we just can't get over how incredible the staff are. Our french is far from perfect but they were patient and taught us a phrase or two. This really is a great place to stay!
To the staff that were so brilliant – thank you so much once again. We look forward to...
Read moreWe stayed here for 3 nights in early May 2025. On the whole we enjoyed it; the location is great, right in the heart of Montmartre, yet the ambience in the hotel is tranquil and on the whole quiet. The staff were helpful and available if needed. Cleanliness was very good.||There were some things we were not happy with. The location of our room (room 4 if you’re interested) was on the ground floor at street level. The windows were directly adjacent to the street outside. There were net curtains and shutters to provide privacy but when the shutters were shut the room was dark, and when they were open we never really knew if people could see inside. This was a real disappointment. ||The room itself was small and the layout made it hard for two people to use the cupboard for storing clothes etc. The toilet, which was separate to the bathroom, was so small that when we were seated we had to keep our legs to one side. ||We booked online from London direct on the hotel’s website. We made our booking 7 weeks prior to our stay. Although the site's photographs showed bigger, so-called ‘superior’ rooms, we were unable to book them. One such photo is displayed next to this review as I write but is most definitely not of the room we stayed in. We tried many times to book a superior room on the website but somehow we couldn’t. I suspect the hotel restricts the booking of these bigger rooms to certain groups of people but I can’t be sure.||We didn’t book breakfast at the hotel and we were glad we didn’t. The area is full of great places with terraces to have breakfast in the sun.||We had a great stay overall but we doubt we would return to...
Read moreThis hotel is an absolute gem! We booked it for a special Wedding Anniversary trip, and we couldn't have chosen better. From the moment we walked through the door we were charmed by the decor, and warmly welcomed by the staff. Our room was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and very comfortable. We had windows overlooking the courtyard, which meant that we could have them open but it was still quiet. Breakfast is fabulous, the setting is pretty, and the selection was huge. The 'breakfast ladies' are lovely and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the Metro station and lots of bus stops (we found the bus system in Paris extremely easy to use and less tiring that the Metro), close enough to be able to explore everywhere that we wanted. The fact that it is located in a quiet road means that it actually feels as though you are staying in a peaceful village, and if you walk up the hill there are loads of lovely places to eat without needing to go down to the busier and more 'touristy' area surrounding the Moulin Rouge. We are so glad that we chose this hotel, having already decided that we would like to return to Paris, we very much hope to be able to stay...
