A really lovely family run hotel, close to the centre of Münster. The hotel has a car park out the back, but if full, fear not, as there is free parking on the road and the area feels super safe!
Inside the hotel, you’re greeted by the owner (I think?)Really nice guy. The chocolates on the front desk are good also - try get a small handful…
The room we were given was on the second floor. There is no lift that I saw, but it’s not too many steps. The room itself is worth the walk anyway…it was SUPER clean, well furnished, precise and as you’d expect, everything worked perfectly, from the shower to the heating.
Widescreen Samsung TV on the wall, a few chairs for relaxing and really comfortable beds (maybe the pillows are a touch soft though…)
Breakfast in the morning was good. Selection of meats, cheeses, breads, yogurts, cereals etc, and then the option of eggs/bacon cooked fresh. Coffee and orange juice to boot!
All in all, a great hotel, and would 100% stay again. Five stars would be given if there was a toaster…. (How can a hotel have no toaster for toast in the morning?! Ha ha)

Whilst there is no bar, there is an "honesty fridge" with chilled wine and beer, etc - take what you want, write the details down and pay later - a nice touch. Our room had a balcony, so it was very pleasant to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the mini heatwave during our stay. |Free wifi is available, and we got a good signal. There's no air conditioning, but there is a ceiling fan which worked surprisingly well. It's about a 15 minute walk into the city centre, but plan your route and you get to walk past the Botanical Gardens and the grand Schloss. |The road outside leads to the city centre, and can get busy during rush hour, but generally, at night, the area is quiet enough to sleep. The car park is quite small, but street parking is available. There's a handy convenience store next door, should you need it, and whilst there's an Italian restaurant a few metres away, you'll need to head into town for a wider choice of...
