Pension Hara Alonissos — Hotel in Alonnisos Municipality

My gut feeling was right, Pension Hara is a lovely place to stay at and the staff is very friendly and helpful. ||My room was cleaned every day and every morning the owners cleaned and took care of the surroundings around the house. |There are so many beautiful flowers and trees so the atmosphere is very peaceful.||The view is amazing and it is a joy to sit at the balcony and overview the harbour and look at everything that is going on there.||It is easy to find good food, rental places, bus stations and swimming nearby, the location is just perfect. ||Pension Hara, or ΧΑΡΑ that means joy/happiness in Greek really stands up for its name. My husband and I just returned from a short Island hop to Allonosis where we stayed in this hotel, it is a gem!! The rooms overlook the harbour with stunning views, the rooms are so typically Greek they are truely beautiful..The owner Nickolas is so welcoming and friendly just what Ive always liked about the Greeks,there was water in the fridge on arrival and we were welcomed with a lovely glass of ouzo... the hotel is perfect for just about anyone its right on the doorstep of the harbour and has bars,restaurants, cafes right there too.....If you are Island hopping or staying for a week I couldnt find any fault with this hotel...

Siamo stati ospiti di Nicos e Hara dal 24 al 31 Luglio 2015.||La pensione è in una posizione panoramica sul porticciolo di Patitiri che si estende su una splendida baia con l'acqua smeraldo.||Fin dal primo momento Nicos, che parla ottimamente sia Italiano che Inglese, ci ha aiutato in ogni desiderio, dalla colazione stile italiano (brioches, latte caffe', succo di frutta, pane burro marmellata frutta yogurt greco) al noleggio della barca trattando per trovare i migliori prezzi possibili. ||E' possibile infatti noleggiare senza patente piccole barche di 4 metri con il motore da 30 cavalli per fare gite ed escursioni intorno all'isola, ma dato il periodo ci sono molte richieste e i prezzi salgono.||Ovviamente è possibile noleggiare anche auto e scooters con cui esplorare le spiagge dell'isola ma noi dopo i primi due giorni in motorino abbiamo optato per la barca per poter andare anche alle spiagge dell'isola gemella Peristera.||L'ultimo giorno la sua mamma Hara ci ha preparato personalmente la torta tradizionale di Alonissos... una delizia.||Abbiamo dovuto partire con un giorno di anticipo per un problema di traghetti e Nicos ci ha trovato una sistemazione a Skiatos facendo in modo che ci aspettassero al porto al momento dell'arrivo e ci guidassero alla stanza.||Insomma una settimana di coccole in un posto, Alonissos, dove abbiamo goduto di un mare strordinario.
