Monambeles Villas — Hotel in Argostoli Municipality

We have just returned home from staying in Villa cleo at monambelas villas and would highly recommend. We have 3 children aged 9-11 years.| The villa was beautiful , spotless and comfortable , spacious and characterful. We enjoyed meeting the cats -ouzo and whiskey - whiskey was very friendly! Ouzo was a scaredy cat but my daughter was determined to give him some love! | The pool was gorgeous, we often felt we had the place to ourselves | I think you definitely need a car here, you can walk to Sagittarius mini Market but its nearly 2km, nice walk but not with kids in the heat... there are restaurants between the Villas and the mini market- we would recommend acropolis for food and the service - Dennis was a joy!| Elena (Both mum and daughter are called Elena) Were really helpful and helped us hire a car (we forgot our driving licences!) And We would highly recommend Greekstones for car hire. The offer to pick us up and drop us off at the airport and allowing us to hold onto the villa until late were all very much appreciated (all day for an additional 50euros)| We loved this area driving around the airstrip and exploring the coast wuth its many beaches and popping into argostoli several times to hire a boat , turtles watch, souvineer shop was a highlight.| We would highly recommend Monambeles Vills, thankyou Elena and family for...

As a family of three, two adults and a child (10) we again had a wonderfull 10 day vacation at villa Monambeles! Seven years ago we last were here and thankfully this place hasn't changed. It was even more beautiful because the compound has become even more green with the bigger olive trees, grapes and other bushes and fruit trees. We stayed at the villa superior which has two spacious bedrooms, two different bathrooms and a nice living. Both bedrooms have the much needed airco's which provide comfortable nights! Helena and her family are wonderful hosts! In our 10 day stay we recieved two changes of bedlinnen and towles and it also came with the cleaning of the complete villa. Argostoli is just a 20min drive by car. The Ai Helis Beach is at a short 5min walk close to the villa. In our taste this beach has everything you need to spend a sunny day. two small beach bars, enough beds, but also enough space to put your own beach towl if you want to. Although the location is near the airport, this doesn't disturb the peace at all. There are no night flights coming in, and during the day you don't really notice this. All in all, villa Monambeles is defenately a place for us to return to, whenever we visit the great Island...

We enjoyed the pool which was clean and so warm with all the sunshine. Also we were often the only people by the pool so it felt very private and quiet. No complaints at all.||The villa itself was charming to look at. Inside it seemed dated but had everything we needed. This included cooking utensils and some basic cooking bits and fruits. There was also a generous welcome pack of goodies which was lovely. ||Hosts were very kind and accommodating. They arranged travel to and from the airport. They also allowed us to pick up some items from the mini market on the way to the villas. This was amazing because it was SO hot that walking carrying food and water bottled would have been effort!! ||The villas are in a peaceful area. several restaurants and beaches are walkable. But in such heat these reasonable walks did not seem so reasonable. For that reason a hire car may be preferred. ||There is air con in the bedroom but the key to keep it running is attached to the door key. This meant it often took time to cool the rooms when we returned. Not a huge deal and there was also a fan in the lounge.||We liked that the tv had Amazon prime as we watched tv in the boiling hour in the afternoon. ||All in all a...
