Nostimon Emar — Hotel in Argostoli Municipality

We booked a standard maisonette, with a bath, and going on the pictures from Holiday Gems, was just what we were looking for.

However, we got an apartment, with old furniture, old, dirty kitchen utensils, cooking equipment, kitchen tap that leaked more out the base of the tap than the actual tap itself.

The bathroom left a lot to be desired. The toilet had no proper flush button, and was extremely hard to flush. The shower was also old and small, with a window straight out onto the hotel next door, with the shortest and most ugly curtain. The shower tray was so small the water went outside the shower tray, despite the inadequate shower curtain, and left the bathroom floor swimming in water and very slippery.

The double bed was hard. Very hard. Very uncomfortable. The mosquito net looked like it needed a good wash.

The air conditioning......was not included in the price! And to add insult to injury, only the one in the living room worked, meaning that all the bedroom doors needed to be left open....no privacy whatsoever 🙄

The balcony, whilst having a great view, it also had a great view of the next door balcony, no privacy, meaning we had to sit with our backs to the couple in the maisonette next door (probably the one we booked) and not look at the sea view, but the hotel next door!

All in all, very disappointed for...

We had the most perfect holiday here. Teri was so friendly and helpful and really went above and beyond from helping us book a massage (they came to us) to recommending place to hire a quad. The place itself is stunning, so comfortable and quiet, with everything you need and lots of little touches that made it so special. The view from our balcony was beautiful and the pool and apartment so clean. The area and local beaches are gorgeous and restaurants and shops only a short walk away. Couldn’t recommend Teri and her beautiful apartments enough - she was so helpful and welcoming. The apartment was clean and spacious with the most incredible views. Teri treated us like part of the family. The pool and communal areas are beautiful and well maintained. Our apartment was cleaned regularly. It’s a short walk to some amazing restaurants and supermarket Athene - Ensemble, Andromeda and Chefalonia are great. The walk to the beach is about 20 minutes and other great beaches are a 20 minute drive. We will definitely be...
