If you want to have a good housing experience DO NOT RENT WITH ERRATHENS. First of all, they make you sign the contract and pay the deposit which is worth one month of the room, and when you go to the office they tell you that if you want the second set of linans and towels you have to pay, but if you want you can pay with the money of the deposit. And its the same with the cleaning service, they don’t tell you beforehand that is mandatory and you need to pay, and they also offer you to pay it with the deposit. So, after all, even tho you leave your bedroom in perfect conditions, you will never have the whole deposit (I paid 430€ for the deposit and they gave me 260€ back). Also, they tell you the monthly rent is paid by cash, and unless you insist on paying it with bank transference they won’t let you do it. The main issue with them started in June, when they told us that the landlord of our apartment wanted to do mayor changes and we will have to leave the house before the first day of July, but that they will send us a list of other apartments they have for summer stay to choose. Initially our contract finished the 15th of July, so basically they kicked us out of the apartment two weeks before the original date. The last week of June arrived and there was no more information of where were we going to live, I asked them about the list and initially they told me we would be staying in the Student Residence, without sending information about how much it was the rent of those rooms, but then they moved me to another apartment because my stay was longer. I mean, why I have to chase them to know where I’m going to live if thats their job? Also, in the check out email they sent they said “The apartment is reserved for the summer season and the cleaners must enter to clean it and prepare all the rooms for the next guests.”, so basically the reforms were a lie and they kicked us out from the apartments to rent them for tourist. And I’m not the only one that had this issue, I know other apartments that received the same email. The apartment they gave us for July was in a really bad condition, the bathroom, specially the shower was really dirty, like if it wasn’t cleaned in ages, and when I told them they say “no thats the painting of the bathtub”, and I can assure that wasn’t paint, they were brown irregular stains both in the bathtub and on the floor (look at the pictures). Also, the washing machine was in the bathroom and the pipe went directly to the shower, so if you wanted to have a shower and the wash your clothes at the same time you couldn’t because the dirty water would end up on you, and thats also what made the bathtub dirty. Most of their apartments don’t have a common living room, which makes really difficult to socialice inside of the house and kind of ruins the experience of living with people you get along well with. To finish with this review, just wanted to add they take ages to answer and that they can go into the apartment whenever they want because they have the keys. I remember one time that the cleaning lady came and she opened the door of my bedroom when I was there (with my boyfriend) after knocking and telling her to not come inside. She is not supposed to go into the bedrooms, she just has to clean the common areas. Overall, they are not a good rental company and I don’t recommend them in any possible way, not even if you are staying only for vacations.

I booked this house in december and I red the review only few days before going there. The house was okay there was some mold around but the flat was decent. The house was completly dark but was not the fault of the agency. But despite the decent condition of the flat the big problem was the agency. When you come they call you to sign up some documents and they tell you that for the bed sheets and the cleaning lady you have to pay. They will remove this money from the deposit. The cleaning lady is mandatory and is a way for the agency to control the tentants and what they are doing. The bed sheets are dirty and they are almost transparent because they washed it thousands times. The agency and the cleaning lady they entered all the time without knocking or ringing the bell, with their own keys. At the end of my staying there they came (with their keys without announcing them) to see for some reparations inside the flat. They checked and they told me that they had to do some reparetion in the empty room of my flatmates. The day after I found them inside my flat and they removed the painting from the ceiling in my bathroom. I was really angry because they didn't tell me anything so I went to the office to talk with them and they told me was my fault because I didn't open the window during the shower. They also said that the cleaning lady took a picture every week and the mold situation was every week worst. They did the reparation in my last three days there and they left a disaster around the house. There was dust all around, smeel of painting and when they finished they didn't clean anything. You have to write to them for the deposit back because they didn't ask for it. So at the end I can say: run away from the agency they are the worst and with the fact that they always enter without asking you will not feel respect and in your space. They will not give you your privacy.

Please be careful, this company is misleading. I was an Erasmus student in Athens, I lived there for 4 months, in Omonia. First I found the company via internet, everything was fine with them. I paid a deposit in the value of 1 month's rent. Upon arrival, they contacted me immediately to come sign the documents. They state uniform accommodation prices everywhere, but upon arrival they start charging meaningless fees, e.g. for bed linen, cleaning lady (she really cleaned), towels, etc. The room was relatively fine, but during my entire stay they weren’t able to fix a toilet bowl (even though I warned them several times afterwards). The bathroom wasn’t in the best condition. At the end of my stay, I was completely surprised that they didn’t send me the deposit within the agreed time. They sent it to me only after I contacted them, of course later than stated in the contract. I didn't even get half of the agreed amount back. Their justification was additional nonsensical charges for linen, towels, bank charges and they even said they had to specially clean my “dirty” room. When I contacted them again for a refund, they didn’t reply me. I definitely don’t recommend this company for accommodation in Athens, it’s not so cheap and u cannot trust hem. My Erasmus colleagues had much nicer accommodation and even much cheaper, where I spent more time. Take care.
