The rooms are not as pictured. And they are definitely not luxury apartments as advertised. They are shabby and in need of maintenance, very deep cleaning, and painting.
It is obvious that they only superficially clean the floor and bathroom and just change the bed sheets. They don’t clean anything else. The walls, doors and light switches are stained and visibly filthy from dirty hands, feet and food stains. The walls have knocks and holes in them! The kitchen cabinets hung off the cupboards. The dining table and kitchen surfaces had food stains in them and an old filthy sponge was left in the sink. The light fittings had thick dust and dirt on them. The shower had mould and stains.
We were disgusted and uncomfortable, and decided to leave the accommodation after 5 minutes. We only made the booking 2-3 hours before we checked in. The management refused to refund our booking. They have stolen our money, as the room was not fit for staying in.
The receptionist offered to get the room re-cleaned, but we refused as they were not going to deep clean the above mentioned walls and doors and surfaces.
They have the audacity to state that their “cleaning protocol was followed” and the rooms are “thoroughly cleaned and sanitised”. This is a lie.
There is much better quality and much cleaner accommodation nearby....
Read moreThe apartment was in a great location, central to all the sights, shopping, and restaurants. We were a group of 7 adults. There was lots of space in the unit, and two washrooms was a bonus. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. The concierge gave us free bottled water every day. The unit has a fully functioning kitchen with pots and pans and utensils. They provided us with towels.||||I have a couple of suggestions, replace the shower door with a fully enclosed shower instead of half a glass panel to avoid water leaking out. Every time we took a shower the water would pool outside and would make it very slippery when you came out.||||My second suggestion would be to have the building hallway lights on a motion sensor. It was always turned off so when we exited our room or the elevator it was completely dark. The light switch was by the elevator so you can turn it on when you got off the elevator but had to walk in the dark hallway when you exited your room. It was ok for our large group but it would be a little frightening for anyone traveling by themselves. I even got an email from them 5 days before arrival to provide them with the arrival details. I kept them updated by replying to all of their mails. To my surprise, when I reach the place at the day of check-in, there is no apartment booked under my name. They said my card was never charged & so they never booked the apartment. They had no last minute vacancy either because it was weekend! They eventually offered to shift me to a different place, 20 min walking from centre at the same cost. Since I had travelled for 15+ hours, I did not fight them over this & took up this option. ||The apartment offered was really good & spacious. It had all the amenities, but it was somewhat far from the centre (3 kms). ||Their staff is good! Mohammad Khalif was very helpful & made sure our luggage was transferred to the new place.
