Kastelia — Hotel in Meteora Municipality

I had a lovely stay at Kastelia near Meteora. The location is superb — quiet, scenic, and just a short walk or drive from the monasteries. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well‑equipped with essentials. The host was warm and responsive, always ready with tips to explore the area.

One small drawback: the access road is narrow and a bit tricky if you drive a larger car. Also, sometimes the “extra touches” like perfect air conditioning or lighting could be hit or miss. Our host was very helpful particularly when we were unable to find her Kastelo. She came out to rescue us for the last 20 meters. The room is extremely comfortable. Newly refurbished comfortable bed, sitting area with a second divan bed for additional guest/s, a well sized bathroom all new and a kitchenette for those who want to eat in and ignore the multitude of restaurants serving delicious traditional food very near by. A wonderful stay. The guesthouse met all our family needs. It was well equipped and very clean.
