Go here. Each dish was delicious and together one of the best meals of the trip. The tzatziki was creamy and perfect - great for dipping bread of cucumbers. The cucumber and Greek salads were yummy. The Greek has the expected components and in generous amounts. The fried zucchini with scordalia (it’s a potato one) was so good and the zucchini did not get soggy over time as fried foods often do. The feta was doused in olive oil and oregano and so good! The stuffed tomato/pepper (one of each on a plate) reminded me of my Papou’s. I did not eat, but heard the lamb chops and chicken skewers were also very good. The house white wine is the one we enjoyed most.

Tourist trap! We had a long day and we were so tired and hungry so we didn’t search properly for a place to eat. If there are no locals this is a major red flag. The terrace is nice and you have a great view to Meteora. Also the staff was polite and quick. Unfortunately the food was disappointing…Both the lamb chops and pork stake were mediocre (the type of food that you have at a edible barbecue). The vegetables in the salad were decent. The shock for me was the taste of the tzatziki. I love greek food and since 2005 i never had a tzatziki THIS BAD in Greece or anywhere else 😳🤯 It was disgusting and I couldn’t eat it. For the quality of the food the price is not justified.

Best taverna in Meteora. Far, far better than the others! One of the best meals of my travels in Europe. Family owned, and incredibly kind people. They keep prices low for the locals, yet the food is superb. Olive oil sourced from family in Greece, all ingredients from local farmers, truly incredible cooking. The wine made from grapes grown across the street. Ask to sit outside for an amazing view. Better than the other places we visited, and less expensive. Don’t sleep on this authentic Greek experience. It’s a hidden gem, so don’t be surprised if you are the only people there. Amazing service! Don’t pass on this place, you’ll regret it.

It's actually how a proper "taverna" should be! Was there last July. It's a family-run business and the products are all from local producers.. Warm atmosphere, super calm view full of nature and the food was beyond good, especially the lamb chops! Got also a lot for free hah super appreciated & definitely gonna go again!

Stopped for dinner after a long day of walking. Their souvlaki was delicious and the service very friendly, they did not speak English but did speak german for some reason. Affordable and quick service, definitely recommend going to this place after visiting Meteora!

The pork chop was huge! And it was only €8! Also how the potatoes were fried was just perfect! It took some time for the pork chop to be served but it was worth waiting. It was a great lunch after a long walk through monastery area. Highly recommended.
