Hello, I had dinner at this tavern today and I did not like the food and the service at all. First, the service staff was constantly standing by my table, second, the food was not tasty and they forgot part of the order, and third, one of the waiters saw that there was a wasp flying around my food and decided to take an electric fly swatter and kill it while I was having dinner. With this electric fly swatter, he messed around on my plate and touched all my food and didn't even manage to kill the bug. This is unacceptable!! This is not normal service!! I lost my appetite after this madness. And the insects kept flying around me and my food and I decided to take action and killed one of the wasps with the fork. The waitress reacted after 10 minutes that there was a problem and offered to make my dish again, I refused him due to lack of appetite, but he gave a new order. This action of his is also unacceptable!! How will a waiter decide whether to place an order when the guest has refused!? After another 10 minutes the waiter brought the bill as I told him and the duplicate order as well as one dessert for each person at my table. I refused to take the food. And on top of that, he even charged me for the dinner he failed!!! These...
Read moreIf this restaurant were in my neighborhood, I would be dining there as often as possible. The food is simply outstanding, featuring all the best Greek dishes—authentic, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere adds to the charm, with soft Greek music playing in the background, creating a relaxed and inviting ambiance.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the exceptional service. Every member of the staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely eager to make our experience unforgettable. It felt like everyone was smiling, and their kindness was beyond what you usually find in a restaurant. They even went out of their way to help us when we encountered car troubles, quickly finding a nearby garage to assist us.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It’s more than just a meal—it's an experience of Greek hospitality...
Read moreThe prices here are roughly the same everywhere. We are from Sydney and it's ostensibly what we pay back home (expensive). The food was fairly typical all average taverna quality not bad but could have had more flavor. The keftethes for example had very little or no mint which made them taste a little more plain than I'm used to. Overall the experience was ruined by a female waiter who accidentally put a sagounaki on our table and seems to have taken offense when we let her know we didn't order it. She promptly took it away which was fine, however when our next dishes came out she was snide about it and made a sassy comment about whether or not it was correct now. She was also generally very unwelcoming with unfriendly body language. The other waiters were very nice...
