We came here when we first visited Meteora in 2022, and it was fabulous. So we returned, hoping it was still as good. Happily everything we loved at Qastiro was still there – food, a view and bags of charm. It’s worth the walk up the hill.
Most places in Kastraki serve hearty traditional foods to the tourist crowd. But Qastiro is different – it has a short but pleasing menu of pizzas, burgers, platters and salads, with a strong emphasis on local produce. The well-stocked bar has an impressive array of very Greek wines. The desserts are divine – you must try the orange pie. And they do takeaway.

If you are staying in Kastraki and want a pizza this is the place to go. It's way up in town, nestled in the mountains in a beautiful position.
The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice.

The pizza itself was nice - better than it looks in photographs. The base was nice and crispy and the toppings were tasty.
Our two cold beers were served with some delicious snacks on the house as well, and the price was very...

Qastiro Meteora is perfectly located in the charming village of Kastraki, right at the foot of the awe-inspiring rocks of Meteora. It’s the ideal spot for anyone wanting a peaceful break from the rush of city life. The view here is nothing short of majestic — you can sip your coffee while gazing at one of the most breathtaking landscapes in Greece.
The prices are reasonable, and the quality of both the coffee and the food is excellent — clearly made with care. And, saving the best for last, the owners have a beautiful heart: they actively take care of the local stray dogs and cats, making this place feel even warmer and more welcoming.
If you’re in Meteora, don’t miss this spot — it’s a perfect blend of great taste, stunning scenery, and...
