Studio||What a true diamond we found in Elounda George Studios. ||Staying away from holiday companies, we were super keen to book through local businesses and for them to benefit rather than large corporations.....so, we approached Elounda George Studios directly. Just reading their philosophy tells you what kind of establishment they run and it's all true. ||From the booking over email through to all the details of the room we were in, where to find the key, local recommendations etc, Eleni and Konstantina were so kind and helpful. ||Usually we go for an apartment, this time it was a studio. A perfect studio. The rooms are ample sized with high ceilings and contain a modern kitchenette with lovely crockery, glasses, plates etc. A fridge with a small freezer helps to keep your retsina chilled! ||The bathroom was also of very high quality and a great size too with a rainfall shower head. There's also a hair dryer which saves some space in your suitcase. ||Our private balcony overlooked a beautiful olive grove and looked out across the sea and mountains beyond. ||We had a delightful housekeeper who keeps the studios in immaculate condition (and she's also VERY lovely). ||The area is just perfect. It's extremely peaceful during both day and night but is literally only a 10 min walk into Elounda Square. An amazing and very friendly supermarket is less than 1 minute away and sells everything from toiletries to groceries, alcohol and gorgeous fresh bread. ||When we met Eleni, we discovered what an absolute joy she is. She excudes warmth, love and hospitality that goes beyond what most people will let you experience. The lady is a real ray of sunshine and happiness. ||We had a couple of questions, such as which boat company to use. Eleni was quick to respond and made sure we had only the best experience. ||It feels like we are now part of the Elounda George Studio family and WHAT a family. ||I wouldn't think twice about HIGHLY recommending Eleni and her studios and they will be out first port of call when we return. ||Thank you Eleni,...

Usually we go for an apartment, this time it was a studio. A perfect studio. The rooms are ample sized with high ceilings and contain a modern kitchenette with lovely crockery, glasses, plates etc. A fridge with a small freezer helps to keep your retsina chilled!

I stayed at the Elounda George Studios for 6 nights the last week of August, following a stay in Agios Nikaloas where I was all inclusive. I can honestly say, don’t waste your money going AI, self catering is the way to go!||Eleni, provides all you need at the Elounda George Studios, plenty of kitchen utensils, cleaning equipment, towels, hair dryer, shampoo, water in the fridge, tea, coffee & milk. Also, a lovely bowl of fruit. The mini mart is a 2 min walk away & provides everything for your stay & open until midnight.||I had a ground floor apartment (N.o.5) which was ideal. The balcony had shade in the morning, where I could sit & enjoy my breakfast in the cool as well as ‘people watch’, with passers by, stopping to have a chat. When returning, I could relax watching the sunset behind the olive grove, so peaceful..||Elounda George Studios are ideally situated with a 5 minute walk into the town, where I visited the lovely beach a few times (sunbed & umbrella 6 euros) & opposite a great bar called (Rudis), that does fab food, music & cocktails at reasonable prices, owned by a very friendly Yorkshire guy & his wife.||On other days, Eleni recommended her friend's hotel to visit where I could use their pool & have lunch (Hiona Appts), less than 10 minutes walk from EGS, not crowded, with fantastic food & sea views.||Elounda George Studios are a find! So clean, accommodating with everything you need, good wifi & the helpfulness & kindness of Eleni to add which is priceless & so appreciated. ||It’s a gem of a place to stay & I will definitely return. ...
