Just returned having spent a week 1/4/2017 to 8/4/2017. Memos the development owner and his dear wife are just the kindest people. We booked direct with hm as I emailed them direct and paid via bank transfer. Unbelievably Memos was waiting for us at the airport to take us to the apartments he even offered to take us back and help with taking is for groceries as most things were just about opening up. If booking don't expect to be picked up, it merely demonstrates how nice this chap is.||||The apartments||||Massive, I don't feel photographs do them justice, ours had a separate bathroom and bed chamber with opening doors to massive sea view balcony in bedroom and living room. Apartments are equipped with cooker, you'll get by with two rings, grill and oven. There is a pool but not conceted direct to main apartment block but a short stroll through he nice gardens, There was utter quiet while while we were there Apartments are up a rather big hill but we hired a car from Hermes who were just down road and who also pick you up from and take you to airport so consider booking a car with them before you book transfers. We paid Euro 150 for the week but this was low season and car was new. bed was very comfortable with plenty of bedding and spare pillows. View was stunning and if traveling in April May be sure to switch lights off at night to see the beautiful fireflies that are just everywhere. Gardens just superb, ideal for families as apartments are massive and well out of way of busy main road, Never ever in my traveling experience have I come across such a nice apartment owner, nothing was too much trouble at all. I would definitely return and with car you have a good location, quiet clean and massive apartments with massive balcony which all have sea views. Thank you Memos you dear kind man. Wifi was...
Read moreHonestly as much as I enjoyed the pool and the owner, I struggled staying here. I was in a group of 5 people for 5 nights, not once did we get new towels or new bedsheets but the apartment seemed like it was never cleaned in general. The air conditioning was missing a remote and broken, in the middle of summer this is absolutely not ok, especially if it is advertised to have one?!?! Next to this the mosquito nets kept nothing outside, I simply couldn’t sleep cuz of the consistent buzzing and biting of mosquitoes (I got bit less when I was outside then in my own bed). The bathroom was also quite gross but I just wore flip flops in the shower so I guess that’s ok. We also were not provided with any cleaning up material for the dishes like a sponge or dish soap, so when we were checking out the owner got mad because we didn’t do the dishes and the house was ‘messy’. What am I paying a cleaning fee for? Or at least give us a way to clean the dishes? The walk is also BRUTAL to go anywhere, if you have any physical struggles or needs, this place is not for you unless you rent a car or use a taxi to go everywhere from the apartments.
Still a beautiful view and great pool, the cats walking around are...
Read moreI have been returning to Marialice Apartments for nearly 30 years, and although I know Corfu like the back of my hand, I’ve never once considered staying anywhere else. Perched on a gentle hillside, just 400–500 meters from the sea, Marialice feels like a tranquil sanctuary. I usually use a car to explore Corfu’s many beautiful beaches and charming villages, and Dassia’s location—only 13 km from Corfu Town, makes it the perfect base for discovering the entire island. There is always a soft, refreshing breeze whispering through the palms and olive trees, bringing a sense of calm to the apartments. The pool is generously sized, sparkling clean, and surrounded by dappled shade—ideal for relaxing on warm afternoons. What truly sets this place apart is Memos, the exceptional host. He is always ready with a kind word, a helpful suggestion, or a local tip to make your stay unforgettable. As a gesture of welcome, guests are treated to a bottle of exquisite homemade olive oil and refreshing lemonade from Corfu’s fragrant lemons—a small but beautiful touch that reflects the soul of Marialice. This is not just accommodation; it’s a place you come back to year after year because it...
