Onore Luxury Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Staying at this place was very peaceful, after long days of touring Corfu coming back to the apartment and cooling off in the private pool of your own room just embodied easy summer vacation. I stayed here via Airbnb and can only recommend this place to anyone looking for a modern, sleek, and holiday feel. Not only was the owner available 24/7 he also arranged a rental car for me, which was brought right in front of the door. I did not have to take a bus anywhere or walk that was amazing! The apartment had everything you needed if you wanted to cook yourself a meal instead of going out to one of the many restaurants located along the Main Street. The beach was in walking distance, however I do recommend renting a car and checking out other parts of Corfu if you are looking to snorkel! There are super markets close by for you to do your shopping, I recommend JOY Market which is about 15 minutes (walking) as well as bus stop about 3 minutes walking distance. This apartment was serviced meaning I had clean towels every 2-3 days. Corfu-Town is not too far from here and the Blue Bus Line Nr. 7 takes you there directly if you are seeking to look at the downtown area. If you are looking to drink the next town Ipsos is not far from you either, where I found many bars and fun people. In the end, the room was very comfortable and I cannot complain about anything. I think what really stood out for me was the service and that when I got in after midnight, meaning I didn’t find a place to eat, the fridge had been stocked with some food for me upon my arrival. 10 out of 10 recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful apartment. No functioning air conditioning. Alerted property in early evening with the option to enter the property in person to fix it. Was dismissed at the time and then when I messaged again upon returning to the property to find it was still broken- was advised it was now too late and it would get looked at early the next morning. The heat was unbearable. Had a young baby with us. Had to sleep with the doors open. Pool and garden is not private- has open access to anyone. I messaged to address my concerns as did not feel safe sleeping with the doors open. A fan could not be provided to substitute. The property contact was very unhelpful throughout. No one repaired the air conditioning the next morning. They decided it was not required because they said our check out was at 11am. Communications have been dire since. Additionally, the incorrect key was placed in the lock box on arrival, delayed access to the room. Requested an infant cot well in advance, this was not provided- had to chase up to receive. Broken pottery laying out on the patio area. Pool was unclean- green algae present . Also patio/pool area was shaded the majority of the day and overlooked directly into apartment by closely neighbours which is not the image advertised I also contacted the property to ask where I could safely place bins out of the apartment and out of reach from the cats as it was full with soiled nappies. Absolutely amazing apartment – just like the photos! Everything was spotless and exactly as shown. The view was great. The service was excellent and super fast whenever we needed anything. I’d definitely recommend hiring a car if you’re staying here, as the location is great for exploring.

There was also a laundry room with a washing machine, detergent, and an iron with an ironing board, which was really convenient. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches — there was water in the fridge and some snacks when we arrived. The pool was clean.
