Ermis Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

Location was ideal as it was close to shops, bus stop and a stones throw away from the beach. The place was clean and neat when we arrived. It had spacious rooms and a good size terrace with chairs and a table. Also had a small book of recommendations to help tourists around the island. The kitchen had a small fridge and freezer, pans, kettle, coffee maker, cutlery, plates and an electric stove so definitely can cook food instead of going out. Each room had an air conditioner even provided us with a hairdryer. The rooms were cleaned when we went out and the lady we met always had a big smile while saying good morning. The worst experience I have in the last 10 years. The door key is attached to the card with a steel chain. The heat is suffocating because you can only leave the card when you are in the apartment. So you can’t use the refrigerator at all. There is dirt everywhere, cobwebs, cockroaches, dust, food crumbs. The photos published on internet are not what you will find on the location. The mop bucket is in the bathtub with all the cleaning supplies. The person who showed me the apartment told me that if I didn’t like it, I could go somewhere else. I couldn’t stay even one hour of the 6 days I had booked. I was not reimbursed in anyway by Booking or the owner. Great place with everything within a small walking distance! We had booked the room with seaside and it was amazing! We made breakfast in the kitchen which they had all utilities you would need in a kitchen. Even a bakery next door. And in the evenings, we would go out for dinner at the restaurants close by. And if we wanted to eat out of town, and in Chania, it was only a 20 minute drive! Amazing place, yet they should maybe check for if there is mould in on the walls.
