John-Mary Apts — Hotel in Municipality of Chersonissos

I speak as I find and always offer an honest opinion. This apartment is above the Paradise Taverna and directly over the road from the sea, not the beach. Below the wall are rocks and pebbles. That said, we did indeed have a sea view as requested. The apartment had many oddities such as a huge bed frame which almost filled the bedroom. This meant having to squeeze up the side of the window wall or clamber over from the other side. It also made opening the wardrobe near impossible. There were only two useful drawers here and so we had to request many more clothes hangers to hang rather than fold garments. The waste water from the washing machine and sinks bubbled up from the drain in the bathroom floor flooding it. The shower had no screen or curtain therefore the floor and surrounding area was soaked each time it was used. The bathroom window frame was propped behind the wash hand basin pedestal and at the window was an ill fitting piece of wire mesh. Only one of the three balcony doors locked - this being the heavy outer one. As the weather was so hot we had to sleep with the fly screen door closed but not secured. One of the two wicker chairs on the balcony was already broken and was taken away but not replaced. We had to ask for a hairdryer and a toaster which should have been there and due to a miss match of crockery, we also had to ask for a further mug and a cereal bowl. To his credit, the owner,Nikos, did respond to our requests but by way of answer to our observations, he simply said things were being changed next year.||I would say that you should be very careful before booking this property but of course that will depend upon what you are looking for or are...

Location is very good, beach is just 100 m away. Apartment is very clean, just One problem is that air conditioner cost here 6 euro per day, which i think is not fair. At The end of the day its imposible to sleep. It feel like you are in sauna. So you have to keep all The Windows open and still its not helping and The mosquitoes flys in and bites you all night. So i think air conditioner must be provided at no cost. There is small kitchen and its possible to make your own meals, cos eating out is veeeery pricy.. There is small swimming pool and area with Sun beds, if you like to stay in a hotel, but i recomend just go to The beach cos the water is warm and often wavy so its more fun then to sit in a hotel. Anyway i recomend this hotel cos of Location and that rooms...

Excelent location !!! Highly recomend !!! Why to pay a lot of money and stay on a fancy hotel when you can stay at John & Mary Apts. The room in huge, living room, bedroom, 2 balconies, an open kitchen that has all the things you need (forks, spoons, knives, plates etc ). The location is very close to the beach and most of the rooms have sea view. You'll have to pay extra for the air conditioner but you can easily...
