The Cretan Shop Gouves playground — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

After dinner our grandchildren wanted to go to the Gouves playground. The waitress mentioned they would only stay open for 25 more minutes. That's OK, but can we all still have a drink in that time (6 persons)? At that time only 1 bouncing castle was still open. When taking the order (it took her 10 min. to come and take the order), she mentioned the children had to pay 5€ / child to play on their premises. They could have for that amount an ice cream or some dessert or a juice. We just had dinner and dessert so we mentioned that this was not necessary. Then she would add 10€ to our bill!! Even though they could play for 15 more minutes and we all would order drinks. When we mentioned we would not pay that and got up to leave, she still requested we 'd pay the 10€!! We just left, leaving her shouting she would get the manager. How child friendly.... ...

If this place didn’t exist someone would have had to invented it. As an adult it’s a nice chill place to have a drink. As a kid, this is where your vacation begins. They got a climbing wall, a kids playground, all situated where you can watch your young one while enjoying your food or drink. Last time I was there, I ordered a margarita, and quite honestly was not super happy with it. When I told they waitress she took it back and brought me back a masterpiece of a drink made especially by the bartender that honestly was superb. What can you say about...

Nice place to enjoy coffee and entertain children. The menu is mostly drinks and desserts. The coffee is really good but strong. Children can access the playpark for €5 each. This includes a drink or snack and a bottle of water. There are bouncy castle, slides, Wendy houses and other toys. Opening times are a bit random. We tried the place on a Monday morning and it was shut. Then at 5 pm the same day and the playground was shut. We were told that it would open when children were here which was...
