Olivae Mare Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Chersonissos

A great place to stay! The Suites only opened this year so it’s very new, with everything all clean and tidy. My husband and I have stayed in the pool suite room which gives you direct access to the pool area. The rooms are fully equipped with a kitchen and dining area, so you can eat in if that’s what you decided to do. Breakfast is included but this is delivered to your room every morning as there isn’t a restaurant area where you can go and sit. The food is very good and you get 3x options each plus a drink option. I’ll attach a photo of the menu.

The rooms are cleaned every couple of days and you are provided with clean towels. The room also includes a hair dryer and an iron which is super convenient!

The suites are located right near to the main strip and beach so it’s within walking distance of everything! With a supermarket on the corner.

Maria and Nikolas have been exceptional and can’t do enough for you. So very friendly! Maria is on hand 24/7 through what’s app, so if you do need anything, she will answer straight away.

Das Appartment ist extrem sauber, wunderschön stilvoll eingerichtet, mit Liebe zum Detail. Es gibt Föhn, Bügelbrett, Bügeleisen, Handtücher, Kleiderhaken, alles. Man kann einen Schirm ausborgen, es gibt Pool Handtücher und es wird alle 3 Tage gereinigt, was bei einem Appartment nicht üblich ist. Man bekommt viel mehr für sein Geld, als normal.

Maria hilft bei allem und ist unfassbar motiviert und freundlich. Sie arbeitet von früh morgens bis spät am Abend und "lebt" für ihre Arbeit. Wir haben noch nie eine so engagierte Person im Tourismus erlebt.

Das Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich, da man in Griechenland normal kein frisch zubereitetes Frühstück bekommt. Es wurde auf alle meine zahlreichen Lebensmittel Unverträglichkeiten und eine Magenverstimmung eingegangen. Ich konnte jeden Tag bestellen, welches Gemüse/Essen dabei sein darf und was nicht. Die Küchenzeile ist top ausgestattet, wir haben auch viel selbst gekocht.

Es gibt auch barrierefreie Räume und Möglichkeiten zum Pool zu gelangen. Die Räume fühlen sich an, als wären sie schalldicht, man hat Nachbarn nicht gehört, ideal zur Erholung.

Die Lage ist ideal, wenn man einen ruhigen Urlaub haben möchte. 2 Minuten zum Strand, Supermärkte und Restaurants in der Nähe. Das Ortszentrum ist etwas weiter entfernt (1-2km zu Fuß). Wir finden, dass Gouves ein Tourismusort zur Erholung ist, es gibt keine lauten Partys oder Clubs. Mit dem KTEL Bus (10min zu Fuß) ist man in einer halben Stunde im Zentrum von Heraklion. Autovermietung gibt es überall, wenn man die vielen Empfehlungen von Maria ausprobieren möchte. Wir fanden das Appartement so schön, dass wir 8 Tage nur dort...
