Sirroco Restaurant Gouves Crete — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

During our stay in Gouves, Crete, my sister and I discovered Sirroco, a restaurant that quickly became our favorite dining spot. Here's a detailed account of our experience:

Ambiance: We chose to sit in the beach section, which provided a stunning view of the sunset as we enjoyed our dinner. The serene sea and the enchanting sunset created a magical and relaxing atmosphere, making our dining experience truly memorable.

Food: The food at Sirroco was so outstanding that we found ourselves returning multiple times. Each visit, we explored different traditional Greek dishes, and each one was phenomenal. The flavors were authentic, rich, and perfectly executed, showcasing the best of Greek cuisine.

Service: The highlight of our visits was undeniably the impeccable service provided by Katerina and Antouaneta. Their remarkable energy and enthusiasm turned each meal into a delightful experience. They were attentive, warm, and genuinely committed to ensuring we had the best possible time. Their professionalism, combined with their friendly demeanor, made us feel exceptionally well taken care of. They anticipated our needs, provided excellent recommendations, and their passion for their work was evident in every interaction.

Highlight: A special mention must go to the Choco Cake, a dessert that is an absolute must-try. It was the perfect conclusion to our meals, leaving us in awe with its rich and decadent flavors.

Overall, Sirroco is a true gem in Gouves, not just for its exquisite food and beautiful setting but particularly for the outstanding service provided by Katerina and Antouaneta. Their dedication and hospitality made our visits unforgettable, and we can't wait to return on our next...

This is by far my favourite place ever... From the amazing beach care personnel..specifically Andreas..the king of the beach.. to the great restaurant..food and drinks.. the very cool Shisha bar and the Superette. These guys know how to treat customers..

Of my 14 day stay in Gouves.. we spent 11 days in their wonderful care.. cos from day one.. they made us feel special and valued and gave us a chilled and relaxed vacation..as planned.

Andreas was handling us on the beach with quick service, a jolly nature.. sense of humour and clean care. The drinks kept flowing.. the beach was clean and anything you wanted or needed was made possible..

Then we spent a few meals doing lunch and or dinner with them.. the guys who run the place are hands on in the dining area..Shisha bar and even in the kitchen..involved..cooking and interactive (a very warming characteristic of a good owner) The food is delicious and fresh. The Sirroco mule was our easy go to cocktail..tasty..fresh and chilled. I loved their grilled veggies and great lounge music. I would gladly do this location everyday all day..and they treated every customer with the same personal touch.. respect and excellence. They really made our vacation exactly as we had planned.. sun.. sea..sand..cocktails and good food. if you are ever in Gouves.. or want to go there..choose this area and do this beach entertainment facility..ooh and we noticed that they are building some accommodation units..if we ever go back to Crete.. that's where we...

I'll start with the good things - the staff is extremely pleasant, helpful and friendly. In my opinion, it is the leading element of this place. There are tables that are almost directly at the beach, which is nice. The whole restaurant has a very pleasant athmosphere, giving it a nice place to sit at even when you're not eating anything at the moment. The drinks were really good, however for my taste the mojitos were a little too rum-tasting. My meal, whcih was a swordfish, was tasty, juicy and I enjoyed it, however they forgot the tzaziki that I asked for on the side. As a dessert I had pancakes with nutella and vanilla ice cream - the pancakes were delicious, however the ice cream could take improvements. In the end we got a complimentary rakija shot and fruits. Overall we were waiting for both the main dish and the dessert for a fairly long time for which I, unfortunatelly, have to give 4 stars (though I have to admit that the staff is almost literally running around all the time, so it was probably because the place was overfilled). I'd definitely recommend this place for a pleasant dinner, with small improvements it can be even better than it...
