My contact at the hotel was Schoola (hope I spelt this right) no problems with her what so ever during may stay, she was most helpful.||My apartment was on a self catering basis approx £20 per night, stayed at the rear of hotel where there was no noise.||Apartments, bar, pool area kept clean and tidy. I cannot comment on the food as I did not eat there.||You cannot bring e.g. water into the hotel and drink by the pool, signs stating 'to do with tax',. I think all hotels display this, make your own mind up.||3 single beds in the room, table, chairs, cooking facilities, kettle and large fridge, all you need. Main supermarket about 3 minutes walk away.||View from room, was OK, I was at rear of hotel.||Bathroom good enough (no bath just shower) and at times there is no hot water (common throughout Greece).||Pool, although not very big was good enough. It also has a shower and approx 10 sunbeds. The beach was about 5 minutes walk away.||Upon leaving the hotel, everything is there, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, pharmacy and a medical centre 200 yards from the hotel.||Only negative I have about this hotel (believe me its not the only one) the charge for air conditioning, a safe and Wi-Fi. I think from memory (Euros per day) air con 3, safe 1.50 and Wi-Fi 1.00. Nowadays you have to have all of these, in particular the air con, in summer months it is definitely needed. Virtually all the bars had free Wi-Fi!!!!||Not supplying these necessities only gives negative reviews of places.||Pints of the local brew varied between £1.50 to £3. Food very reasonable .||A TIP: do not get Euros out of a ATM, its a complete rip off. Take sterling or get money from the Post Office/Tesco etc. ATM, I got approx 84 cents for £1.There is a shop just outside the hotel where I got 1.14 Euros to £1.||Malia, mostly for the 18-30's brigade, so if over this age, please check before booking a holiday here.||Conclusion. Would I recommend and stay here again, yes I would, but most unlikely. Between 3 in a room at £10 a...
Read moreMe and my boyfriend came here after midnight on sunday 29 May. No problem coming that late. The receptionist is there until like 21-22 every night. And we stayed for 7 nights until June 4. We had the one room apartment with a balcony. The room had 3 big beds. The room is huge and fresh. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to make breakfast, lunch, snacks or dinner. The freezer is very very small. You can fit like 2 bottles of water there if you want them to get cold fast. I did not feel as though you needed the freezer anyway so it was all good. The rooms are cleaned 6 times a week. Mon-fri and then on sunday. They always make the beds and empty the trash. New towels pretty often but not every day. You had to pay €6 for ac, but in the beginning (in May) the weather was not that hot so we did not need it until our last 2 days. Wifi cost €1 / day. The staff is very friendly and the pool area is small but cousy. The hotel is located in the middle of the bar streets. So some nights there is some noise from the street but I thought the guests at the hotel disturbed more than the bars outside. Just get ear plugs and you are fine! The toilets are small but fresh. The shower is very simple and small with no shower curtains or nothing. It was a bit annoying to shower because the water splashed everywhere and it was such a small place to shower on. This hotel is cheap and in a great location near bars, supermarkets, cafés and like 900m to the beach and it has everything you need. I enjoyed...
Read moreI was awakened one morning to a pleasant surprise of a brush sweeping past me head. Opening an eye I was astonished when I found out the cleaner had decide to come say hello and act my alarm clock for that morning - she was less than a foot away from my face, swaying a broom like something from a Spanish Cinderella with no subtitles because I hadnt the slightest idea of what she was yapping on about. As well as this amazing encounter, the bathroom was like stepping into auschwitz with a cold shower and a broken toilet seat. To top everything off, I had a broken bed, broken curtain that fell off with every gust of wind, in fact, I woke up with it on my face multiple times. The air con didn’t work, the hotel was been run by a brigade of untrained, foreign child labour camps and for some apparent reason we were welcomed into our room but about 40 deflated balloons. Other than that the hotel was amazing, probably the best I’ve...
