Before you stay at this toilet of a dump ask yourself do I have any sort of evan moderate standards the hotel is very very noisy at all times of the day and night we were put in there by our holiday company due to there booking errors they told us 3 days before we were due to fly out to crete one night was enough we moved out to a better standard of hotel now to list the faults with the filthy room we had smells of rott and sweaty socks we then noticed the pillows all 6 of the pillow cases were dirty and stains but it got worse the pillows were stained with god knows what I took them to reception and asked them to replace them then the horrors got going people being sick on the stairs banging doors screaming at all hours if your between 16 to 30 years of age and want to live in filth while your on holiday then this place is perfect but be warned the staff are ignorant they don't clean your rooms to evan a basic standard after seeing and taking photographs of the dirt and filth I felt like my skin was crawling we called the emergency rep and to his credit he acted straight away we were told to book a different hotel and he would get us reimburse within 48 hours and he did exactly that this hotel should be taken out of the JET2 catalogue it's a shame that the owners of this hotel don't run it to any sort of standards because its location is great for shops ect but that's the only good point finally if you do decide to stay here make sure to check the cleaning and bedding bathroom dining area have all been cleaned and if your not satisfied make them clean it get new bedding and towels ect and don't be intimidated by the bar man .YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. And I just remembered at 7am while waiting for the rep to call me the maid just entered the room no knock or anything looked at me turned round and walked out with no apology or...
Read moreI was skeptical about my stay at this hotel after reading the previous reviews online but have just arrived back from a week's stay here and I've had an absolutely brilliant time, met some incredible people at the hotel that just made the stay even better! Shout out to Andrea, Steph and Elvis who were all very friendly, helpful and actually really great company to talk to. Jet2 aren't wrong when they say it's a VIBE hotel, they had a pool bar with music and lots of sun beds, slushy alcoholic drinks (which were great and reasonably priced), pool table and ping pong table too. The rooms were equipped with basic essentials you'd need (although you do have to pay extra for air con - this does work a treat though) and had a nice little balcony area to sit in the sun and people watch. The location was great, being only a short walk to the slip (clubs), resturants and shops and just little further to the beach. But be aware lots of people come to Malia for the nightlife (hence the VIBE status on Jet2), so there are drunk people arriving back at from about 5am who aren't the quietest so perhaps not the best choice for a family holiday in the peak months (May-Sept) but great for a sociable, relaxed and sunny holiday (with some partying if you'd like). I would happily stay...
