Fanivevis Garden — Hotel in Municipality of Folegandros

We spent our main part of holidays by staying 6 nights there, during August 2021. The room was too small (probably a former storage room transformed into bedroom…), too noisy and with no privacy at all since its entrance was in the yard. The bed was awful. We did not manage to sleep continuously any of the nights , since it was making noise even when we just tried to change position. The bathroom was also too small , as the rest part … Overall : Highly overpriced place by not offering even the basics…Please stay away in order not to experience unpleasant moments as we did. It’s really shame to feel that way after leaving an amazing island like...

Our room was quite big however it didn’t have main amenities such as clean towels, clean bed sits and no air-condition. There was no privacy with the owner entering our room once without even knocking. Moreover, when we returned after an hour unexpectedly we found our window wide open - allowing anyone to jump in our room at any point and steal money, jewelleries etc. You could barely have a shower as the water was not running properly and overall not clean at all. Unfortunately our initial booking was cancelled and we had no other choice but please stay away from this hotel. Extra bonus the spider...

This could be a very good place: this is conveniently located next to Chora which is a beautiful and lively town. The “hotel” is in a very nice old building from the 19-th century. |Unfortunately the owners don’t seem aware of standard basic expectations of tourists: |There is a hair drier in the room but nothing to make a coffee or a tea. The bathroom was probably good in 1960 but time has gone and this is not good for a bathroom. |There is a garden behind the house but hardly any shadow in it. |It is really a pity that owners seem simply unable to exploit the great potential...
