Mar Inn Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Folegandros

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in the first week of September. Hotel offers impeccable cleaning service, new structure and a beautiful pool. It is located 07 minutes walk from Chora, the charming village of restaurants and commerce. Staffs are friendly and helpful.|| ||Points of attention: the hotel is located on a hill in front of the ocean. If you have any morbidity you should consider. Just as if your stay is on a windy week (which is common in the region), the use of the pool and the balcony will be compromised as will the silence of the rooms. ||As the rooms are to ocean, the winds bring absurd noises in the doors and windows. The wind level is so strong that you feel pressure in your ears with the bedroom door open. What does not happen in hotels located in the center of Chora due to the natural protection of the place. ||||Despite the great space of the room, we had back pain during our stay due to the hard mattress.||||The hotel does not offer breakfast included in the rate. We stayed in the new private residence and were only the second guests there. Kyriakos has designed this space beautifully; you have uninterrupted views of Chora town and the monastery from the secluded patio, a private jacuzzi, an outdoor shower, an elegant wooden patio shade covering a table and sun lounger, and of course a massive guest room inside the residence itself.

I'm used to traveling and I'm always looking for hotels that make a difference in something and the Mar Inn hotel is one of them. It is certainly clean and cared for in everything. It has a beautiful view and is walking distance from the Chora. But the difference is in the management of the owner Domenico (he calls himself that) and his family.
