Villa Michel-Angelo Karpathos Island - Greece — Hotel in Municipality of Karpathos

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa for two weeks in September 2023. The villa is located on a hill overlooking the town of Pigadia and the ocean- needless to say, the villa has spectacular views. Location was perfect as it was a 2 minute drive to Pigadia or 10 minute drive to Amopi, which ended up being one of my favorite beaches to visit.

The villa itself was built and designed by the owner, Andreas, himself and his attention to detail and love of the house is evident throughout. The well designed rooms are large and spacious with well appointed bathrooms. There are multiple patios, an outdoor pool and shower, and even an outdoor fireplace. For those interested in working out, there is also a workout area as well with a bike, weights, and punching bag. I loved waking up each morning and drinking my Nespresso coffee on the outdoor swing bed while taking in the views or watching the day end with a glass of wine.

Lastly, I would highly encourage you to enquire if Andreas can take you out on his boat to explore the hidden gems of the island that only a local knows. I was lucky enough that Andreas had the time and it was the best part of my stay- simply stunning. He showed me hidden caves, private beaches, and ended the day with a small picnic on the boat. I would have booked a tour with him every day had his schedule allowed.

I normally pick a different island each year to visit, but Karpathos is one island that I may need to return to every year. It is untouched by mass tourism, has the best (and cleanest) beaches, and a charm that is rare to find. A perfect stay in what may just be a...

If we could leave 100 stars, we would!! Words cannot express how grateful we are for the entire Villa Michel-Angelo team who worked tirelessly with heart and intention to ensure our wedding stay and event was perfect! And it was! The Villa was our home for a week and from the moment we arrived to well beyond our stay, it still feels like home. We traveled from Texas-USA with our family of 14. The Villa was more than what we could have ever hoped for! Valeria, Andreas and Mike, cared so beautifully for our family and created experiences for us that will last a lifetime of memories. From late night parties by the pool, to Jeep rides to toast the sunrise, they arranged everything. Our wedding at Amoopi beach and reception at the Villa was nothing short of magical. We feel very lucky to have found Karpathos & the Villa. Perfect location, amazing people! We will be back! We’re eternally...

Better late than never.

My wife, adult daughter and I had the pleasure of being guests at Villa Michel-Angelo in August 2022. We had a fantastic week in wonderful Karpathos and were well looked after by Andreas and staff. Andreas is very concerned that we should enjoy ourselves. He has answers to the questions you have about everything from which beach is best for the day to arranging a table at any of the taverns and restaurants that Karpathos town has to offer. I highly recommend spending your vacation at Villa Michel-Angelo. It is not on the beach but I promise you, the view of Karpathos town in the evening will not disappoint you.
