Falasarna Bay — Hotel in Municipality of Kissamos

Falasarna Beach is directly down the hill from the hotel and we visited all of the top beaches in Crete that you will see in the travel guides and we like this beach the best. So this is definitely a location location location property We also found three of the best Greek Tavernas on our 17 day trip in Crete within 3 miles of the hotel. AS to the hotel itself, the rooms were roomy and clean but a bit outdated and although we didn't care about the kitchen as we planned to eat out for our meals it really consisted of a hot plate, a small fridge, and a microwave. Also, we paid the add-on for the breakfast but it was very limited and not worth it, although they did have fresh squeezed orange juice. ||They have no beach towels and they are on a beach. ||But all in all especially with the location and the price value of the property and given it was a clean property,we would recommend this hotel. But TripAdvisor has a limited scoring Program, I wouldn’t really call it a four-star, but it’s above a three star. 3.75 is about right, but...

We loved our stay at Falasarna, but the hotel Falasarna Bay had its positives and negatives. Pros: the price was unbeatable, location was amazing, more quiet than some other areas, and right in front of the beach with an amazing view. The staff was very kind, handy, and the lady in the kitchen kept bringing us cakes when we were there playing cards. Very lovely. There is a good choice of walking distance restaurants, and the breakfast at the hotel, even though is was simple , it was good and enough for us. The negatives: some of our neighbours were noisy and the rooms are not soundproof at all. But the bedding was the hardest: the mattress was very hard and every morning we were waking up with sore shoulders. I'm not sure it's like this in other rooms. The hotel was full so we didn't even try to switch rooms, and we kept thinking that we would be able to sleep better the following night, but that didn't happen. I would really recommend the hotel if you are a good sleeper. Otherwise some other place with better bedding...

Can’t fault this place.. it is newly renovated. Super friendly and kind.. the rooms are very comfortable.. the beds are firm memory foam and give you the best nights sleep. The kitchenette has everything you need. Cleaned daily.. breakfast is sooo good and more than enough.. the beach is very close.. 2 min walk at the most.. there are 3 amazing beaches all within 2-5 mins walk.. one very child friendly beach and secluded wave free pool.. beach service.. beach bars are great and have amazing lunches.. loads of tavernas in walking distance.. the food is exceptional. Plus it is the best location in Greece for sunsets. Personally I didn’t want to give a good review, because I didn’t want everyone else to find this amazing place as I want to come back every year, but I couldn’t not.
