Gilisma Taverna — Restaurant in Municipality of Kissamos

Friendly, Great customer service and quick.

This place is not directly at the beachfront, mostly because of 2 other "Imbiss" locations blocking the view, but it does worth to come here.

We decided to get some lunch to cool down and were really happy to have chosen this place.

The Chicken Chops are simply amazing. Chicken was BBQed and was served with fries and salad. Price was really good comparable to European prices.

We got a nice Ice cream for free at the end. Coffee is really good as well.

Service is friendly and quick.

We went because of the better reviews out of 3 restaurants in close proximity. We’ve ordered 3 chicken souvlaki portions. A bit expensive for 3 souvlaki skewers per portion with fries (apparently we were supposed to get couscous too) per portion but the seagulls ate it before we opened the box on the beach - couldn’t be arsed to go back as it was tasteless. We also had grilled octopus which was not cooked well and beetroot salad which was very bitter so avoid both. The staff were friendly. Definitely bring your own food and just use buy drinks...

Quite a nice place to est after or before you visit the beach. You sit a much relaxing place than the others; more away from the beach. But, you can still see the beach.

The food was good! Currently 3 weeks in Greece, so I have had some experiences. This one was not bad or really good. Just good quality for the prices you pay. We also got quite a huge portion which was nice. The staff was fine as well.

I recommend you going here if you want to eat a much more silent place...
