Arrival & Check-in|There was no signage to indicate where check-in was, so we had to ask around. The property could really benefit from clearer directions. Access to the room is via steep stairs with a low ceiling on the half landing — anyone over 5’6” will need to duck when coming down. There’s no lift, so worth noting for those who may struggle with stairs.||Room|The room was very basic: bed, sink, and wardrobe (with just six hangers). It did come with a full-sized fridge, which felt out of place but was handy, stocked with four small bottles of water on arrival. There was no seating furniture inside, so we had to sit on the bed.||Our room setup was unusual — two double rooms joined together “Jack and Jill” style. That meant double the facilities (two toilets, sinks, showers, wardrobes, etc.), which could be a plus, but it also felt odd. The room provided a kettle, two cups/saucers, and teaspoons, though with two rooms combined we ended up with double cups but only one kettle. A safe was included.||Condition & Facilities|The interior is very tired. The laminate flooring was loose, light switches were taped over with duct tape, and the electrics still relied on the old “key card in slot” system. Small touches like a full-length mirror or a simple chair would really improve comfort.||The balcony was a good size, offering two chairs, a small table, two loungers, and a two-seater rattan-style sofa. Unfortunately, the sofa was covered with a towel to disguise a badly weathered, damp-stained cushion, and the missing back cushion hadn’t been replaced. A clothes airer with pegs was provided, which was useful.||Housekeeping was disappointing. For a 10-day stay, we had to ask the cleaning staff to change the bedsheets, which should really be done as standard without prompting. We also had to request glasses and plates from reception so we could enjoy drinks and snacks on the balcony. The mosquito netting on the balcony door was full of holes, so it was ineffective.||Noise & Comfort|The location next to Haman fountain means you hear the nightly fountain/music show very clearly in the room until around midnight. This made the second bedroom essentially unusable if anyone wanted to sleep earlier. On windy nights, the balcony gate rattled constantly, which disturbed sleep until we secured it ourselves.||Positives| • The sea view was lovely.| • The beach is right on your doorstep.| • Air conditioning fault was fixed the next day after reporting.| • A drainage smell was also resolved promptly after we flagged it.||Overall|The location and sea views are the real selling points, but the property feels neglected and lacks attention to detail. With some basic upgrades — clearer signage, improved furniture, more attentive housekeeping, proper maintenance, and a bit more guest comfort — this place could be...
Read moreA confusing place... We booked with breakfast. But if you chose a coffee and a juice, you have to pay for one of those. The same if you want to eat a fruit plate and a pancake. So always only choose one!!
We had no hairdryer in our room and asked 3 times in 2 days for it till we got one...
It's said if you smoke a shisha at the HAMAM place (they belong together) you only have to pay 8 or 10€ instead of 15 because of living there. That's wrong. We had to pay 15 € both times we smoke a shisha...
The stuff is nice but not everyone understand English so sometimes it's a bit difficult to communicate...
So all in all... nice place nearby the beach but also...
