Blue Note Studios & Boathouse — Hotel in Municipality of Milos

The boathouse was an absolute delight - location wise. It was clean and reasonably equipped. However, the host was not so great. When we left the boathouse for lunch on our second day, a reclining chair was not broken - when we returned from lunch the reclining chair arm was broken, we reported this to the host explaining we were unsure how it had been broken. The response from the host was awful. He accused us of breaking the chair and that we would have to pay for a new one. Once again we told the host we didn't know how the chair had been broken and were swiftly sent an invoice for a replacement chair. We felt we had to agree to pay or we might be asked to leave with nowhere to go. We were left to use a broken chair for four days, however the new chair conveniently arrived at 0645 on the morning we were leaving for our ferry. I have given a 3* because of how great the location was etc, but really this should have been a 1*. This was meant to be a relaxing, enjoyable holiday which turned into a very stressful stay and was ruined by a greedy, selfish host. By the way the chair cost 55...

Blue Note – our beautiful home by the sea! We made our first trip to Milos a few weeks ago and it definitely won’t be our last. One of the things that made it unforgettable was staying at Blue Note. Even before we arrived, our host Xristos went above and beyond—helping us secure a rental car and offering great tips for exploring the island. He made planning a breeze. Once we arrived, he was always just a message away and ready to help with anything we needed. We stayed in the studio apartment, which was super comfortable, well-stocked, and came with million-dollar views. We woke up to stunning sunrises just outside our door and ended each day with breathtaking sunsets into sea just steps down the beach. It felt like we had a private slice of paradise. The location was perfect—close enough to walk to the charming downtown, and a great base for exploring the whole island. Lovely place and very friendly host! We stayed in the apartment for one month and it felt like home. Christos was very kind, responding to all our requests, he even got a baby chair for us to use during our stay. The apartment is very nice, clean and well equipped and close to the main beach and restaurants. The location is great and the view is spectacular. It even has a small sandy beach in front of the terrace. If we will come back to Milos, we will stay...
