Galanis Rooms Milos — Hotel in Municipality of Milos

Just checked in yesterday. The lady that greeted us was soo nice, she shook our hands to introduce herself. She brought us to our room and showed us a few things in the room and was trying to show us where to go around town. Unfortunately we didn't understand it fully because of the language barrier but very nice for her to try. ||||The room is very clean and spacious. Everything is was very well up kept. The bed was very comfortable, I think the best yet so far from my 2.5 weeks of travelling. AC and Wi-Fi are strong and consistent. ||||Outside the room every one has their own bistro set looking out to the ocean. Beautiful patio area. There are cloth racks to use as well. ||||Minutes from the centre of town. ||Costs 15 euros by taxi from the airport to the hotel. Make sure to take a still picture of the location on Google maps because there is another hotel in the North end of the island that sounds simular, our taxi driver almost took us there. ||||This is an excellent place to stay, sweet people that run the hotel. Fairly priced. ||||Definitely recommended and would stay again if we come back to Milos. ||||Cheers....

Diciamo che questo hotel, come posizione, pulizia, staff e così via, è stato il peggiore di quelli dove abbiamo alloggiato in grecia. L'hotel si trova a circa 1 km dal porto ma non è assolutamente indicato da NESSUNA parte. una volta arrivati al porto, alla sera, abbiamo dovuto per forza di cose prendere un taxi, non sapendo minimamente dove andare, che ci ha fatto pagare 6€ per fare 1 km. Che ladro. In ogni caso una volta arrivati in hotel abbiamo scoperto che potevano venire i proprietari a prenderti (averlo saputo, non c'era scritto da nessuna parte). In ogni caso, arriviamo in hotel e ci accoglie la proprietaria al di fuori della sua abitazione (in realtà questo è un hotel ricavato da una sorta di palazzina in una zona residenziale) e sorpresa: non parla una sola parola di inglese! Quindi ci fa capire cose a caso a gesti, e per tutto il soggiorno sarà così. La pulizia lascia un po' a desiderare nel senso che nei 4 giorni di soggiorno è stata fatta solamente 1 volta e non bene.Lenzuola e asciugamani cambiati e stirati solamente questa volta. tutto dopo la seconda notte. Per me questo non è accettabile, anche perchè abbiamo sì pagato poco (160€ x 4 notti) ma è anche vero che abbiamo soggiornato in altri hotel allo stesso prezzo e il servizio era TUTT'ALTRO. In ogni caso, per arrivare al centro di Adamas ci si mette 10 min a piedi prendendosela comoda. Quindi tutto sommato la posizione non è nemmeno male.||Insomma bisogna sapersi adattare e poi tutto funziona.||In aggiunta, avevamo una splendida camera con richiesta letto matrimoniale ma ci è stata data una camera con due letti singoli (e vallo a spiegare a una persona che parla soltanto Greco! quindi ce li siamo tenuti così) e vista CIMITERO.||Bagno con doccia da panico, nel senso che prima di arrivare alla temperatura corretta dovevi ustionarti 3 volte e ghiacciarti 5. La tenda era tenuta su da un sistema mai visto prima che denota la completa economicità della stanza. In aggiunta, per arrivare alla camera si dovevano fare 3 milioni di gradini di una scala, che con il caldo assurdo e 2 valigie di 20 kg senza nessun aiuto lascia il tempo che trova.. Wi fi accettabile devo dire.. il migliore provato forse.||La bontà della signora e del marito ed il fatto che il taxi al ritorno al porto lo ha chiamato lei e non ci è stato fatto pagare purtroppo non bastano per alzare la valutazione di questa struttura. Mi spiace ma credo che aggiungendo qualche euro (e intendo al massimo una decina o una ventina) si possano trovare struttura decisamente più vicine e meglio servite di questa. In ogni caso, non si può inserire la propria struttura su un sito famosissimo di booking online e non saper...
