Mangata Milos — Restaurant in Municipality of Milos

The place is hyped because of the view of the port. Points for that for sure. However. When we arrived, we had to wait 10mins to be served. Two waitresses prefered chatting than actually serving guests. There were 12 tables which gives 6 of them to each. Not all tables were full neither. We waited 25mins for breakfast that was literally 4 ingredients put together in very boring way. Streaky bacon qas more of a ham rather than streaky bacon. All visit took over 1,5h. For turists it may be a bit too long for breakfast as you have day planned and breakfast basically became brunch.

Food was average and quite plain apart from salty taste.

They have good coffee, nice atmosphere and perfect view. Unfortunately, we won't come back...

The worst was not the wait, 50 minutes for eggs- based brunch, until we lost our patience and left. The worst was that the managers do not think this kind of wait is problematic for their business. They argued that it is normal. That is how things are. Unless you prepare to have lunch if you arrive for breakfast and dinner if you schedule for lunch, avoid it.It seems they are not even willing to improve this. Food quality? We don’t know. My bad that I didn’t check the reviews beforehand. I would have seen the long-wait and rude staff patterns and have stayed relaxed...

Best brunch/bar/cafe/boutique in Milos!!! The food was delicious I had the eggs Benedict and my boyfriend had the croissant 🥐, there was no food left on our plates. The Mangata spritz was such a refreshing drink the bartender/server was so kind and he made the drink menu himself! We hung out with the beautiful owner Eva, along with Sunday and Joana, and had the best time at the bar!
