L'olivier apartment — Hotel in Municipality of Milos

I've done a LOT of traveling in my 50+ years and have never had such a warm and caring welcome as Marina. We only were able to stay for a couple nights but she made my family and I feel like we were part of her family. I want to return to Milos as soon as I can for many reasons but to stay here is top among them. Comfortable beds. Cozy kitchen. Beautiful rustic interiors. Good A/C. Shady outdoor table in the shade for dining or relaxing. Cute garden in the back with a hammock. Generally a quiet area without bars and lots of crowds and noise that inevitably come along with tourists. One thing that may not be apparent is that there is a little parking lot across the street from the apartment so you will almost certainly have a place to put your car in without stressing about parking. And it's not a rough walk to the restaurants of Plaka & "castle of Plaka", etc., I'd probably do it the the daytime to keep from getting turned around.

I just read there are many hotels in the process of being built on Milos and this is all the more reason to stay with someone who has been here for generations. Make sure the money you spend on Milos goes to the families who live here. Not to multinational corporations who don't care one whip about the places...

Me and my partner stayed here for a week and loved every moment. Our hosts were wonderful and super helpful. The place was much bigger than we thought and the kitchen was stocked to the max! Never have we been in a bnb where we were thoroughly surprised by the amount of food in the kitchen. Plus Yaya(grandma) was always giving us more and more food. Definitely we would not finish it all. Literally you could just cook and eat in the whole time. Both bedrooms had AC which is appreciated as it can get hot outside. The place is on the ground floor so it stayed cool.

Outside, there was a bbq to use, hammock, big dining table, sitting areas to just read and admire the ocean views. It was easy to relax, have some wine and watch the colours change for sunset. There was a big free carpark across the road.

When we come back to Milos, we will definitely stay in this place again. And you will need a couple of weeks to enjoy Milos.

I stayed there for a week. The hospitality I received from the hosts exceeded my expectations. Quiet place with amazing view. It’s family and kids friendly with baby table and chairs and a baby bassinet in the master room. The back side of the house has an outdoor BBQ stall, a bed swing and sitting areas where you can invite friends and enjoy the sun and view!! The bathroom has a laundry machine and pretty amenities!! The whole place has beautiful details and heart-warm welcoming hosts who provided us with a lot of information about the island!! Before we leave we got some unexpected gifts as well !!
