Holy Cannoli... Hands down the most exquisite, tasteful, flavoursome, exotic, satisfying meals I have ever had. My partner and I loved it so much we dined at this fine establishment 6 times during our stay in Milos for the week. We felt complete satisfaction after every meal, you could eat so much yet not feel bloated or full. Pristine food and ingredients. Makes the quality of food back home in Australia look like rubbish. It was honestly mind blowing to me, how rich each meal was. We had the Souvlaki (chicken, pork, kebab and seftalia), Vlahos combo, Pita Pork, Pita Chicken, Pita Kebab, Pita Seftalia, French fries (the BEST chips I’ve ever had in my life), Tsatziki dip, olives, the house wine was phenomenal, Ouzo... we basically had the whole menu. Only thing we didn’t try was the burger - but why eat a burger when you have a burger back home? Try new food! Don’t be shy! The service was impeccable. So friendly, kind and approachable. A huge thank you to one of the chef’s who was kind and gave us two shots of Tsiporou (Ouzo alternative) on the house one night. The hostess was funny and attentive. Qualities a lot of hostesses back home do not have. Honestly, every night we had there was such an incredible experience. We’re coming back in the future for sure. I wish nothing but success and longevity to this place. Greetings from Perth,...
Read moreWe don’t share at all the global enthusiasm shown by other people giving notes. The food was okayish but definitely not that good. The house´s special combo was less generous and less tasty versus the mixed grill we had last night at the port, the view was nicer at the port, the French fries neither anemic nor dry as they were in this restaurant. The tzatziki was composed « only » of youghurt with almost no spices, very little cucumber, couldn’t taste any garlic or mint or coriander, whatever green stuff was in it, was way too rare to give any other taste than youghurt. Last but not the least, we want to mention the highly poor service. No greeting, no welcome, no smile, no efkharisto, only once parakalo even though we tried to break the ice and introduce all the words we know in Greek… even when we paid, I told the server he forgot the second bottle of water we ordered and I wanted to pay more, there was no Thank you, no welcome back or yassas, nothing, he just left with the cash without a word. The dinner ended as it started without a word without a smile. We have never felt so badly welcome in Greece, a country we...
Read moreThe pork gyros was small but tasty. Not much meat. If you are a big man, consider buying 2 to feel full.. Price is OK. Greek salad was tasty. Why 1 star for the service? Because not 2 seconds before sitting the waiter was pouring cold water into glasses (it was night and cold outside!), not even asking if we want it but of course it was charged. I wanted cold beer, sir, not filling myself with cold water I didn't even request. My husband had a draft beer... On the menu said "500ml" but he received it in a glass of 400ml (the quantity was even written on the glass). It's not about the money but about the huge disrespect. Also try to replace the wobbly chairs before someone falls with it... Instead if a nice dinner, I left extremely irritated. Pity. Later edit: I've revised to a lower rating after eating at Apollonio grill house the best gyros in Milos, bigger and tastier, with excellent service. So...
