Came here in 2023 and ordered Kontosouvli Pork, dolmades and lamb from the souvla. Amazing food, well cooked, great flavours and fresh. We sat and ate at around 9pm last year.

Last week we tried it again after 11 months of thinking about the food here and unfortunately we sat down and ordered at around 8pm, the food was quite poor. Ordered zucchini flowers that were nice, but the kontosuvli pork and the lamb from the souvla were clearly from the night before and reheated as it tasted old and tasted reheated. The lamb from the souvla was 50% fat and 50% bone. It was very very poor quality. I accept the price for this has gone down 2€ from last year, but in the end it was a wasted €17 from my perspective as it had maybe 50g of meat in the whole dish. It was nothing like last year.

If you’re going to accept kontosuvli and souvla orders, then make it clear that if it’s ordered before a certain time, it may be reheated from the night before and I’ll order something else or return at a later hour to get what I’m actually paying for.

My wife wants to give you another chance and book a later time, but I don’t want to risk another poor meal with so many amazing restaurants walking distance from you.

The photo of the two plates of food in the one photo is from last year. You can see the meat is cooked perfectly. The photos of the two individual plates were from this year. You can see the pork looks and tasted boiled and the lamb is now all fat and bone and tasted reheated. Reheated lamb is easy to know.

I hope this review helps the restaurant and to not serve yesterday’s meats and very poor quality cuts of lamb as the experience this year didn’t seem like the same restaurant...

Update: we went back again the next night for dessert and the service was even worse. And this was a fairly quiet time when they weren't busy at all. Had to repeatedly ask for menu before we could even order. Service is definitely their weakest point here.

Really solid food--grilled meats were juicy and flavorful. Food also came out quickly. Service was a bit up-and-down...some servers are friendly, others are a bit more rushed and feel unapproachable. They're all nice enough but maybe just super busy and thus not as attentive to your table as you'd like...for instance had to ask for the check repeatedly at the end etc. The start of the night was their galaktoboureko desert...literally one of the best deserts I've ever had, period. It's unbelievable how good it is that we've already vowed to return and get it before we leave Milos! P.s. at night for dinner, you get the surprise bonus of nice live music from next door spilling over and adding to the ambiance. We...

Over more than 20 years eating in so many Greek restaurants, we have all agreed that eating with you last night was just a sublime experience. From starters to main, wines, beers and ouzzo, to the gracious hosts who made this family evening an experience not to have missed. Every one of the dishes were a delight for the taste buds and simply put delicious. The chicken on a bed of couscous so we'll balanced succulent totally morish, to the traditional moussaka rich yet so appetising just try it. The fried cheese starter is simply not to be missed, in all the years we have had this as part of a family starter, this unamously was voted to be an absolute pleasure, the best ever tasted. The Cretian red wine as recommended really complimented your delightfully food. Thank you for being such special hosts. WE WILL make the effort to travel to you from Adamas again, we all want to try something else from your menu. Neil, Karen, Ethan,...

By far the worst dining experience I had in Greece. I would strongly advise going to any of the dozen other restaurants in the area serving the same food. Food was bad, I ordered the lamb which was incredibly dry and had many burnt bits. The potatoes were probably frozen, some of the more underwhelming ones I've had in Greece. The service was atrocious. It took forever for the waiter to give us a menu and then even longer for them to take our order. I could understand this being part of the more relaxed dining culture in Greece where you're expected to dine at a leisurely pace, however no sooner than 5 minutes after finishing our meal were we rushed out of the restaurant. I guess it's fine for the restaurant to take its time but God forbid if the customer does it.
