We just spent four nights in this suite a few minutes walk from the center of the village of Pollonia. Everything in the suite is impeccable: high quality bedding, cutting-edge coffeemaker, a great TV with foreign channels (if you are into watching TV while living in such a beautiful setting), strong and dependable WiFi signal, a great shower and all the necessary appliances including an iron and ironing board. Everything here is new, including the extra-quiet, powerful air conditioning units.||||Thoughtfully provided fruit, water, honey, homemade jams, bread, ham and cheese, orange juice, milk and complimentary coffee pods made our breakfasts a great pleasure without having to part from the view from our terrace. Daily housekeeping was prompt, discreet and extremely thorough. Bathroom toiletries are of the highest quality, provided by the toiletries division of Coco Mat.||||Sitting at the porch is magic and being a little far from the crowds at the center of the village is the perfect way to enjoy Pollonia. ||||I will let a few pictures I took do the talking. We would absolutely love to come back to this property next time we are in the magnificent island of Milos. A big thanks to the owner of the property whom we met on our way out.||||Finally, a word about how impressed we were by the prudent measures we experienced all over Milos, from safe distancing of beach umbrella sets, to masks worn by everyone we had contact with, the availability of gel and disinfecting products everywhere we went, the deep cleaning of every surface at restaurants we visited. We congratulate the island authorities for being so proactive and wish them a healthy and safe summer season. Milos has not had any cases of the virus and it looks certain to...
Read moreThis property is at the end of the road outside the 'downtown' of Pollonia, less than a very easy and flat 10 minute walk to all of the restaurants and the beach nearby. We had the largest suite, with a big patio area. Below us was a waterfront place and above us a smaller unit (that our friends were in). We overlook a small boat mooring area, on the less windy side of the peninsula. You could get in the water there, but it is rocky, so its useful to cool off but not a 'beach'. We did jump in several times though. Booking through the travel agent was easy, but they were slow in responding to info requests after booking. The owner of the property uses the travel agency for all communications, as she and her husband are 'locals' who live on property and don't do the internet themselves. Theresa speaks enough english, is the owner and keeps impeccable care of the property, promptly cleaning each day at 11am, knowing our schedule had us out of the unit then. The unit has a separate bedroom, a great bathroom and a small kitchenette with stove and refer, as well as a nice coffeemaker. They stock the fridge with fruits, cheese and ham, bottled water and juice, and even have a few bottles of private made wine for you too. Also have some white sliced bread and a panini maker for a quick morning bite. The pride they have in the property shows. Another review was negative about the neighbors. We found them to be a normal island generational local family--- they weren't bothersome--and we got to know them through our 5 day stay. This is a very local property--as most are there--owned by locals. We'd stay there again in...
Read moreThere are Two apartments in this facility. One slightly larger than the other but both in brand new condition as they were recently renovated. The larger one also has a larger balcony which is great for eating and relaxing. We stayed in the smaller one but it was sufficient for our needs. We have a family of four and there was ample room for all of us. The location is to die for. We were right on the water and in close proximity to all the restaurants, cafes and action in the town of Pollonia. I believe that Pollonia is the best spot in Milos because of its location and layout. Our hosts were Teresa and Frank and they looked after us immensely. The apartment was cleaned every day with fresh linen and towels and they had food stocked in fridge for us when we arrived so we could have a snack without having to go to the mini market. The owner had also made us these home made jams and provided fresh fruit for us.Mind you there was a mini market in the town which was in walking distance so we could buy things on a daily basis when we needed it. There was also a bakery in the town which had this amazing "karpouzopita" which is a watermelon cake. It is unique to the island of Milos and was absolutely amazing. I have never tasted anything like it but it was delicious and sweet. Overall I can highly recommend Michalikis Seaside Suites and would definitely stay there again in the future. Overall cost was also very affordable and far less than many other places...
